Did the mosh pit scene for over 20 years from the mid 80's to the mid 00's. Seen Slayer over 30 times in that span and they had the best pits, just pure violence with an unwritten code where you picked the person up, then knocked them the hell down again. Was a fun time. If getting your aggression out with like minded people is your thing, you got to try at least one mosh pit. Very freeing.

I know I was shocked the last time I saw them I wiped out on the floor and just as I slammed to the ground I had 3 dudes pick me up just as fast as I fell and made sure I was OK and we went back at it . Any other concert you were fucked when you hit the floor . Which I'm 6ft. 5 and usually the tallest out there but someone in the slayer family always had yiur back .

@@jonpaulison2283 They used to be brutal back in the late 80's early 90's. It got to the point where they started to ban them because of fear of lawsuits. All of the sudden, the people started helping people up and blocking them from getting stomped. Was kinda cool to see how we self policed it in order to save it. Never got knocked down myself but I never walked out of them without being battered and bruised either. Good times!

Mosh veteran here too ma. As epic as a Slayer mosh was, the only time I was ever afraid for my own safety in a mosh was Sepultura Chaos AD tour - they opened with Refuse/Resist + Territory + Arise, and damn those three songs were over in minutes. Amazing.

There's nothing like live shows. Pure fuckin adrenaline. Moshing is amazing for getting the energy out- I'm a 5'1 woman and have been shoved and pushed, but it's the most fun! When someone falls, they immediately get picked up. The only time I've gotten hurt when someone elbowed me by accident at Morbid Angel (just took some wind out, nothing serious) and getting suffocated at Dimmu Borgir when the crowd started pushing to the front. But the energy is more powerful than any drug.

When at Slayer concerts, everyone is waiting for this track. Outstanding. The concert itself is great as any other. And also with Jeff in the line-up. The audience was not overwhelming some 30,000-40,000 people. Yes it was great. Over 120,000 people attended the opening concert of this legendary tour in Warsaw in my country.

Not sure the exact amount of people in attendance, but I believe this recording was from the first "Big 4" show at Sonisphere Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria 2010. I would guess the stadium was packed to capacity, because "The Big 4" was called that because it's the first time in history that the "The Big 4 of 80s thrash metal" all played together at one show. The last 4 bands of the day were Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and festival headliners Metallica.

I think a lot of the older rock bands have more of a passionate crowd. So I think it's more of a generational thing than a rock vs rap thing. I could be wrong though. Not to mention the difference in people who prefer rock over rap. I personally love both, but have only ever been to rock concerts because they seem to be the most fun and interactive. ✌

Question to Mr T from Rocky 3: "What is your prediction for this reaction?" Answer: "Pain." Now you have to watch comedian Jim Bruer's story about going to see Slayer and dealing with Slayer fan!: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYfbn4p4hp6SZ80 P.S. the audio on that video in the link is kinda crap so turn it all the way up.

Metal head might look like they might be very mean people but they aren't, if you are ever in mosh pit and fall down in the middle of the people will pick up you so you don't get hurt. They don't want any another metal head to get hurt.
