And it has the exact same problems too. One side of the vertical fins of the gpu is completely blocked, trapping all the warm air the card is exhausting, raising temps. Anyone wanting to go with a LP 4060 should grab the A24-v5. Something that's yet to be reviewed on this channel. That case have ventilation on both exhaust points, does not use a riser, have almost double the cpu cooler clearance, also you can install 2 case fans - all while being significantly smaller at just 5L. Oh and obviously a lot cheaper. It's better than this in every possible way.

@identity__thief17 сағат бұрын
The incredibly refined aesthetic is dependent on specific hardware combinations to ensure everything lines up perfectly. To support more hardware would require options for multiple GPU plates, except there are only two GPUs on the market worth running (3 if you count a shunt modded ada 4000 sff, but that's super custom territory), and the price alone kills its mass market viability. As a case designer myself, the only market for this I can see is people who want to spend a lot of money on a very pretty computer and don't mind not getting much computer in return. It's a bigger market than most people would expect, but still absolutely tiny in the scale of things.

@meateaw14 сағат бұрын
a 4060 is a 115 watt GPU. 75watts is delivered by the PCI Express port. a 6 pin connector delivers upto 75 watts. an 8 pin connector can deliver 150 watts by itself. The 6 pin delivers 30% more power than the card needs, even if you overclocked it and raised its power use, 30% is more than enough.

This is a bizarre case to me - its an expensive case, which isn't particularly portable, but is limited to a 4060. There are similarly sized and priced cases which fot far higher end hardware, and have mucb broader hardware support (potentially for future generations). Even if your gpu needs an RMA, its possible you wouldn't be able to get the same model to replace it, so suddenly your entire build is out of action. It just feels wasteful.
