Hi, I don’t game a lot, but for example, in Black Myth: Wukong during gameplay, it’s in the mid-60s, and I'm getting just over 90 fps. During heavy rendering in Blender, it’s also in the high 60s, but when I'm doing some heavy simulation or running Cinebench, that’s when it shoots up to the mid-90s.

For the PCU could I bump up to the SF1000 or is the sf750 plenty? I plan on using the PROART but using the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and GIGABYTE B650I AORUS ULTRA board. thoughts ?
@MarinkoTambur
@MarinkoTambur 13 күн бұрын
The SF750 should be sufficient for your build, as the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and ProArt RTX 4080 combo are relatively power-efficient for high-performance hardware. However, if you want more headroom for potential upgrades than go for SF1000

@rahulravishankar3152
@rahulravishankar3152 3 ай бұрын
AIOs like Cooler Master's 240 Atmos or 240L Core fit in the Formd T1 without any modification needed at all. The mounting brackets come standard. The idea of watercooling is that it lets you run more heavily threaded loads without completely overwhelming your cooling solution. The AXP90-47 might just be better for a single core workload (see EIGA's experience with the 7950X3D) but the moment you hit it with a heavily threaded load, it all falls apart as there simply isnt enough thermal mass to soak up all the heat and dissipate it properly. The AIO has a radiator and coolant which do a much better job at soaking up the heat generated by a multi threaded workload and then dissipating it over a larger surface area.
@RyanKry
@RyanKry 2 ай бұрын
It might look intimidating at first, but it really is super easy to install and AIO. See a couple of YT videos quite similar to your build and see it yourself how much of a massive difference it makes both in temperatures and as a result on performance. High 80s to low / mid 90s are quite bad for CPU temps, you will be losing performance on the table also not great for the longevity of your system either. I highly recommend switching to a 280 AIO.
@MarinkoTambur
@MarinkoTambur 2 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for the suggestion, Im thinking of doing that however where I live the price of AIO is double to what I would pay in US so when I go back I'll probably get one.

Nice ITX build. I would personally change 2 things: 1.) Instead of Intel, an AMD R9 7950X at 105W TDP with the AXP-90 Full Copper and black fan TL-9015B 2.) Instead of the Coolermaster fans, 2x Phanteks T30 on top
@Phlorge
@Phlorge 3 ай бұрын
not sure why youd put a 7950x unless you specifically have work streams that require that kind of power when a 7800x3d is much lower tdp and doesn't sacrifice much.
@DIDISCH68
@DIDISCH68 3 ай бұрын
@@Phlorge Well, for a gaming PC I would also rather go for the 7800X3D. However, most people use a computer to work with and for heavy workloads the 7950X is the better solution.

Hi, thanks for the comment. As I said at the beginning no experience and not enough research before buying the parts. Why the mobo and cpu weren't the best choice for this application? you didn't say
@MarinkoTambur
@MarinkoTambur 2 ай бұрын
The CPU is very power-hungry, and with this setup, it's impossible to cool it effectively, so I'm not getting the full potential from it. The motherboard also has compatibility issues with the cooler I purchased, and it's probably overkill for this build. I could have saved money by choosing a cheaper option that would meet all my needs. A better choice might have been an AMD chip, as it would be easier to cool
