Hey, gang! I am interested in your honest opinions about this recent addition to Amazon Knifeoverse. I think it’s worth checking out because of how open they are to constructive input from consumers. Your thoughts?

You're a very principled man, forthcoming with honesty. If you recommend with your expertise. Then it is an honest deal. I have been looking for a button lock. I just don't support amazon in any way. I refuse to support them, amazon. Find another way, company direct and tell them CBRX got me here. Speaking of expertise, do you have a video on qualifications. I imagine you're not the sort that is comfortable talking about you and your accomplishments.

I'm really impressed with their reply you have posted in the description. I had sort of written off Fintiso but the more I hear the more I'm impressed, I'll probably pick up the Parrot model just because of that. Remette seems like another brand that wants to actually listen to reviewers and make changes. I think you might have reviewed a knife of theirs but either way I think they're worth keeping tabs on because they're actually active in the community.

I reviewed Remette Peregrine Falcon and was critical of the lock that could not withstand a slightest spine whack. I recommended adding a safety button and they did that, but did not offer a sample for my review. @Remette could show a little gratitude, but I think they still lack confidence in their design.

I was just talking a friend about this just today. You can’t actually review knives without burning bridges because brands are so used to shilling. Constructive criticism is not even accepted and can stop brands to talking to you. Consumers are really the losers haha😅

Can't really think of any except for one that's a brand ambassador, but his channel isn't about just knives.

@@loosieclocker who? This guy? No he does unrealistic tests though for sure. I mean it's for entertainment. If you don't buy a knife because it fails his tests then you're missing out. I'm not exactly mad that a majority of my folders can't be batoned through a log. The only shill I know is anyone who only deals with mainly Benchmade 🤣

@@SMS2884 I’m a fan of cbrx. He is one of the only i think has the customer in their best interests. I despise most the others like metal complex. They constantly take the knee for free stuff to review

I'd like to see you test OK Knives OK-81 and OK-223 in M390 steel, or so they claim.
@just9911Ай бұрын
Pretty sure they are actually using m390… but their heat treat is garbage. It’s like when Twosun started offering s90v a few years back. It was run so soft that the steel composition didn’t really matter.
@N2EWSRadioАй бұрын
@@just9911 I have an OK-223 with S30V marked on it. I re-profiled the edge just for kicks, and it took a lot of work and a long time (worksharp prec adj elite). So the steel on that one wasn't soft. Then again, I'm a newb at sharpening, so there's that.
