i literally searched up they might be giants earlier today looking for an essay specifically in your style and found nothing. mostly because they reminded me of tally hall, (and how they made the same kind of music 20 yrs before tally hall did)

@@puppetloser I guessed that yeah, both absolutely goat bands (except for joe Hawley but he's also very likely to have been extremely schizophrenic at that time so it wasn't really his fault :[ )

I love this band and applaud your efforts with the video. However, I also find it hilarious that the documentary attempts to explain what every song is *about* - an approach so literal that even TMBG themselves would never try it. ;)
