Great reaction! You totally nailed it. Also if you compare particular dance moves among the members, Sooyoung's were just sharper, had more snap in this particular performance. She mentioned in her vlog that the managers put her out front more in this remix version because of her height. Sunny slayed it too, IMO. Way sexy and looks like she's not just doing the choreo, but really enjoying dancing, like she might in a club or something.

You mention the tiny stage. I recall reading back then that this performance almost did not happen because of it. When they arrived to rehearse, the stage area they were given was even smaller than you see in this video, and the girls (or manager?) refused to perform unless they made it bigger. The stage area you see is what they were finally given. They still had to modify their choreography and, as you can see, they killed it. Also kudos to the stylists - perfect outfits for this show, audience, and time slot. Then the stylists toned the outfits way down for the morning crowd on the Live With Kelly show,.

you're right i almost forgot how good is they're vocal line . to me it's simple to be one of my fav group you have to be a group with an amazing vocal line . not only a good vocal line but an amazing one . like MAMAMOO SISTAR S.E.S GIRLS DAY DREAMCATCHER RED VELVET and of course SNSD the trinity vocal line is phenomenal TAEYEON / JESSICA / TIFFANY if you add the differant voice color of the other members you got one of the best group of the kpop history .

This brings back memories for me. This was pretty unheard of at the time! Did you know that Sooyoung originally considered herself "the useless member?" She was really concerned when the group formed because she considered everyone else in the group to be so much more talented than her. It wasn't until their first trip to Japan that she started to get her confidence. Their first trip to the land of the rising sun, Sooyoung was the only member of the group who was fluent in Japanese, and all the other girls in the group really looked to her for direction the entire time.

Even in the back she'd tower over the other girls. Sooyoung needs to be with the other maknae in order for her to blend well. They always have her with the unnies instead which never made any sense to me. Especially when they put her between Sunny and Teayeon the shortest.
