When they announced the show like 8 years ago, they said it was gonna be a Numenorian story with Isildur as the main character during the dark times of Numenor. Since then every single Tolkien expert has quit and been replaced by younger, less talanted idiots with no prior experience and no knowledge of the source material.

@@Walle8707 they just kinda rocked up. Not shown on screen so much except one bit where they seemingly march up to the edge of the lake and look across at the city and snarl. So yeah you'd assume if orcs can see the city then the elven eyes of the city should've been able to see the orcs

I'm so f'ing tired of them messing with the timeline and not to speak about the horrendous casting. That black irish dwarf is so out of place and the whole Nori/Not Gandalf segment is so boring I cringe everytime they get screen time. There's so many boring characters and I can't f'ing stand Don Lemonless. What a horrible actor. I somewhat think the whole Sauron/Anatar and Celebrimbor segment is alright. Mostly because I'm a Sauron fan boy and just love the lore behind him. But all in all this is utter trash. I only watch it because I'm a nerd. Tolkien would be ashamed of this and tbh it's disrespectful towards him. Edit: And I know the LORE (regarding Sauron) presented in the ROP isn't accurate. Still think it's alright compared to the rest of the show.
