That throttling isn't limited to just surface laptops. My HP Omni 10 tablet does the same thing. Just sitting on the desktop, it'll eventually think it's overheating when it's not (50°C usually) and peg itself to 100% throttle (0.53ghz). I used AIDA 64 to verify this. I think a Windows update screwed that up. Even using throttlestop to constrict the CPU and turn off turbo and stuff doesn't help.

Basically controlling the phone, extracting all of its contacts, sms messages, looking at its files, making calls and text in that phone. Since it is made in java, I can install it in my phone then scan the area for open Bluetooth devices. I noticed that Chinese knockoff phones are the most vulnerable to the attack, I think sony is the least....

@@rennis4471 Yet its not the same thing. But its a situation where you give up on something to have some advantages, if you dont like wires, you will have to charge a battery. The thing is, phones should have both.
@eduardoavila6465 жыл бұрын
@@nooneinpart Wrong, its quite the opposite, bluetooth has a lower quality due to compressing and the low bandwidth of bluetooth, not even counting the possible interferences. Not only that but most of the bluetooth earphones use low quality chips. But if you think into that, speakers are analog, a usb earphone has to have a soundcard to convert the digital audio (not playable directly in speakers) to the classical analog audio, so it in fact have a simillar circuit integrated, and would have at best the same quality as the 3.5mm. While that, bluetooth also receives digital data, but through a way worse bus, a wireless one, wich has way lower bandwidth than usb, so it gets compressed, and yet it has to convert the digital (and compressed) audio data to analog to playback in the earphones. So, how does it sound better, if it makes the same conversion, but with an extra degradation step? It doesnt! And if really bluetooth was as good as the analog audio, professional equipament, audiophile equipament, wouldnt use it in all of its forms (p10, p3, etc). Also phones should come with both, these things are expensive af, even more the flagships, and they dont put a few cents more of engenieering in there. Sometimes, there is even space to do it, sometimes they even add some plastic to some spaces. The problem here is to not have a dedicated audio port, if you dont use it, fine, but its important just as having any other dedicated port that we use today.

This is the problem with calling software developers "software engineers". Engineering requires a thorough and robust design that is tested and as close to fully understood as possible. Software isn't put through nearly as robust a design process as other engineered things are. It may be too late, but we need to try to actually make software as rigorously engineered as other fields, because it's at the point that software is as critical to security, and even safety, as other engineering fields are.
