As Chaos, you have to "wipe" the map in strips from top to bottom starting with vassalizing Norsca. Destroy one faction at a time and you'll be fine. You cant really get surrounded when you have waste at your back

#1 tip for WoC campaign I can give it to get access to as many sorcerers as you can for scouting - always prioritise that building first in your camps and use sorcerer lords to lead armies so you can spare the sorcerers. Only Sigvald and Kholek should need an extra sorcerer, every other army should rely on the general for magic.

Archaon still needs a hero on a manticore in order to have a siege attacker.

Plus sorcerer lords can get on a chaos dragon, meaning you don't need an exalted hero bodyguard for them at that point, so if you have access to them, you can use them go scout ahead and perform hero actions (primarily assaulting garrisons and assassinations)

You gotta do a binary search for trade deals. Offer half way to max, if they accept reduce your offer to half of what it just was, if they reject increase your offer to half way towards the old max.

i agree however, playing as norsca or especially chaos you should ally with skaven or other faction that likes you, so settlements you cant take the ai will. and since you ally with them they will assist you. edit: my main gripe with horde factions is their crappy income. they should have buildings that generate income instead of reducing upkeep. that way you can actualy have a horde instead of having to constantly raid and raze.

@@ramped_shadowz6310 I prefer to smash humans first. Asur and druchii fight for one hundred turns before one faction can finally defeat the other, but Empire and Brets always defeat their enemies by that point and become powerhouses, so focus on them is the key for a healthy campaign.
