We had Samoyed huskies, the only time the would go in their dog houses was if we had a heavy rain and thunderstorms.. They have or had a heated bed on the covered porch that doesn’t get direct wind..At one time there was a dog house on the porch.. MoJo wouldn’t use it..

Mojo is the sweetest LGD around. To take him away from his animals would be abusive. He’s a working dog. There are all kinds of working dogs; from police k9’s, service dogs for the disabled to LGD’s. These dogs thrive because of their jobs. I have a service/ medical alert dog. People who know me and my dog often comment that my dog would “die” or become extremely depressed without his job. These working dogs know how important their jobs are and they thrive because of it. Y’all have a blessed day!

Your dogs are guardian dogs that work 24/7. They are not pasture ornaments. Leeske and Cora can go into the barn if they choose too. Mojo goes up to your porch where he has a better mattress than I do. His little buddies climb on him to be extra warm. Mojo isn't a city dog! And if you tell him that I think he would be terribly insulted. They need to get educated on the Great Dog that he is!

I live in Texas. MY son found this Great Pyrenees on the side of the road. In the middle of nowhere. He brought him to our house. And we live in town. I told them this dog is a working dog. I told my son. That i watched several farm channels. Especially in OK. area. I need to find a home for him. So this dog can do what he is supposed to do. I want the dog to go to a good home. He is a pup still. My son took him to the vet. He has all of his shots. The vet said the pup is about 6 or 7 months old. He is solid white. I really enjoy watching all of these farm channels. Hello Kevin and Rachel Mojo would be miserable if he were locked up inside anywhere. He love his farm - his family and his friends . I’ve seen videos of Mojo sailing over the fence. It doesn’t slow him down. The thought of sweet and gigantic Leeski in anyone’s house is cringe worthy. Bless his bones… he and Kora are guardians. Just like Mojo. I have a great pyrenees but I live in the woods. I have a large doggy door in my cabin. He can come & go as he pleases. 99.9% of the time he is laying on a platform I built for him or the hill. He prefers it outside. I live in Upper Michigan he protects us from coyotes and wolves. Charlie is my baby boy

Just letting you know, The Pyrenees guardian dogs come from France , and are originally from the Pyrenees mountain range between France and Spain, and the last time I checked it gets hot in both countries and really cold in their winter. Putting Mojo in the house would be the worst thing to do, it would be like putting a Polar Bear inside your house, they would be way too hot lol and would find a way to be out. Hunting predators as they should be.

My niece’s Pry sleeps with the goats. She loves the cold weather. When it’s down in the 20’s at night Storm and all the goats hunker down together to share body heat. They have a converted trailer, lined with straw, and they all go in it when it rains, storms, or the temperatures are super cold.

Hi, my nightly routine with my Newfoundland is a battle in winter,she never wants to be indoors no matter how much it snows, unless she hears the kettle and thinks a cookie maybe available. I am French; we are fortunate to have many livestock farms in France. I myself own 2 "Berger des pyrenées". They are working dogs and should never be kept inside a house. The same goes for Huskies or Malamutes, they need to pull sleds, and hunting dogs must hunt to be happy.

I live in Washington state, we used to have a malamute that couldn’t stay indoors more than five minutes and she’d ask to go back out, she’d be to hot. She was happiest when it snowed! It’s just people who don’t know about dog breads!

Anyone can tell how much you love ❤️ and take really good care of your animals and dogs. Just look how healthy and happy looking Mojo looks as well as your other dogs. The people that are saying these things about Mojo are absolutely ignorant and delusional. These types of dogs thrive in the cold weather. I have a dog who I rescued and I do have a nice warm bed for him as well as big blankets. His bed is in the garage and we leave the back door open in the garage except when the weather gets really bad like the ice and snow storm that we had in Texas two years ago. My dog Bubba absolutely loves the snow and cold weather. Even though he has access to the garage and his bed you will find him out in the backyard running around, bucking like a horse and playing as if he is a kid in the candy store. We have a Great Pyrenees we call Bear. I only have an acre fenced in yard. Bear is an indoor fellow. But in the winter he likes to stay out at night and sometimes in the day because it is just to warm for him in the house. He goes out in the summer but he likes the AC. When he wants in he knocks at the door.

I lived in the mountains of Colorado and had a Great Pyr. They LOVE the cold! And they are night owls who stay awake at night. If you ever pet one you will see they have a super thick DOUBLE coat. I kept my house at 58degrees and she would run outside, lay on her belly in the snow with her paws stretched licking the snow. They are bred to be outside in cold weather. Look into the breed before you judge.

Kevin you two take great care of Mojo. He is LGD and it is his job to take care of his family of goats, geese, chickens and Emu. I do not know who they called, but I am sure that whomever they called, let the complaint go in one ear and out the other. As another person from Alaska commented it gets a lot colder up in Alaska and a lot of their dogs live outdoors. Oklahoma is not as cold as Alaska. Mojo would be miserable if he had to be inside, he knows what his job is. If he wanted to he could always find shelter in the barn structure that the goats go in to get out of the rain. Just like your other two LGD's they can go in the barn with their goats. ❤

Mojo has more fur and protection from the cold than most sled dogs! The fact he sits on the porch sleeping during the day means he's staying out of the heat and resting for his night shift. My 80-pound Standard Poodle sleeps in my bed he is my Service Dog, and the closeness creates a bond. Not all working dogs are created equal. They can kick rocks or if they don't like it change the channel and move on, just like when you watch TV if you don't like what you're watching you change the channel or turn off the TV! Just tell people to go back and find that video where you explain about the LGD's. Yes I have seen on the video where Mojo clears the fence after a something after the goats. Those kind of people have nothing better to do than stick their nose into other peoples business. Here in Alaska they stay outside & will have a doghouse with hay or covers even in 50-60 below zero! They tuck their noses under their tails to keep warm. You guys don’t get cold weather. What you get is long sleeves or light jacket weather for us. Love watching & am a faithful subscriber! Can’t believe someone would accuse you of mistreating any of your animals!! That is ridiculous! Guess some people are just haters or jealous of what you guys have!!! Sad!! Can’t imagine what they would say about your hunting or teaching your kids hunting & fishing!!! 🤬😡

I had a maremma for 13 yrs and he hated to come in the house these dogs are bred to be out side they double coated, I miss him hut he lived a good life on my farm

WOW just WOW! We have never owned live stock or had a farm but we have had dogs that thrive being outside. Many years ago we had a Shepard wolf mix. He hated being inside. It was too hot and confiding for him. His job was to protect me and my boys when they were little while my hubby was away for days to weeks at a time as a trucker. We built him a very nice dog house with a heater and most of the time he would be laying outside of the door. It's funny they aren't worried about them chickens, goats, emus or your cats. Just the one creature on your farm built for winter 🤔
