Every dog needs good recall even if it’s a livestock guardian dog that’s one thing every dog should have because it keeps them safe so work on her recall and get her to where she comes when called because they’ll keep her safe and keep her from getting attacked if she was to get out again

From what I understand anatolian shepards do not take commands like most dogs they respond only when they want to. They are mote independent than most dogs. Kinda like a cat in that regard.

Me too I said when he was still a 10 week old puppy start small but start soon! And I gave advice on recall training later it scares the crap out of me when I see dogs that ignore calls I've seen it turn deadly! 😢

Yes it does save life’s but LSGD r very independent thinkers. Much more than an average dog. It’s what makes them good at guarding without supervision telling them what to do. They r loaners in that regard and there for independent thinkers. Makes them not be as good at commands as other breeds. Something maybe u can understand a little more knowing there nature to work alone in the night. Not because someone is out there telling them what to do but because it’s there instinct to do guarding on their own.

I love to watch bee keepers. Recently I had a swam and called a bee keeper and he was at my house in a few minutes. Saw the hive figured what he needed went home and then returned and took the hive. The queen was there. Yes I would love to buy you guys honey. Please let us know.

Wow that must have been heart racing. I think it's great the way you handled everything. Your goats are awesome and came home. Cora is beautiful. She didn't go far. She stayed with her goats. Thank you for even sharing that event with us. As far as Mojo goes, only our Lord knows what would of really happened. We are all imperfect humans and very under qualified to be judging anyone.
