I compost nearly 50 ton of equine compost every year. I have to turn it a few times a month. I have it tested by a lab. Some I "store" is 5 years old. No NOX, no ammonia & 6.7ph. The organic gardeners locally buy tons from me a year. Pretty good racket, lol. Best part is it comes off my neighbor's horse training facility. I just have the room to store it & turn it into fertilizer.

Growing up in NE WI dairy farm, my dad would have to stack/pile manure when it was either too wet, no place to spread it due to crops or snow too deep. We had some piles that were many years old. Each spring, my mom would have him put many spreader loads on her 1/2 acre garden. It would be almost a foot thick. He would then plow it under with our 6x18" plow, then disk it several times and finally drag it to smooth it out. She always had great crop of veggies!

Thanks for another great video Welkers. It was interesting and enjoyable. I have to say I never saw a big bud used to do lawn work and the field tillage unit to work the soil around a house. 🏡 there is a place for everything I guess including the horse manure. I would think when your horse manure gets wet it will stink but maybe not. Time will tell. Should grow some real good grass!!!!! Nick from your testing of the soil looks like you have respectable moisture where you put down some winter wheat seeds. That is a good sign for a good year. Let’s hope it continues!!!!!!!!" Getting your augers ready to go. Getting ready for spring field work-yeah!!!!!!!’ Big Buds are ready to go for wheat seed to be put in the ground. Yeah!!!! Plus a new muffler. Thanks for everything Bob snd colby and patch and Scott and Nick. You all take care and be safe. Prayers your way for continuing moisture for the crops. The Iowa farm boy. Steve 😊👍🙏🙏✅🇺🇸

If memory serves me right! There was a John Deere commercial. Had a big track hoe planting a little tree, any capture said, tree planted in 2 minutes. The next one was in the kitchen, looking through the looking through the glass sliding door, you seen the biggest combine they made at the time go by! The capture said back yard mowed in 3.5 seconds. So using a Big Bud is not Overkill. That's what was needed to get the job done right!! Y'all stay safe

Now, after 30 years, we've moved from Africa back to Scotland and we still have the same smell from the nearby farms. My family have not changed their minds. And now they smell it for themselves they think I am truly beyond mad !

My great grandfather planted some trees around our farm, to prohibit the farm from wind damage. We farm in a very high yield and hilly region, i am even thinking about planting tree rows in the field to stop the water erosion. We have water erosion categories where tilling is already limited by law, trees will actually help me to allow to till... I mean, i see the erosion, but limiting tilling by law is quite heavy for my understanding. In the old days, about 80 years ago, we had a ton of fruit trees here which were planted to prohibit the village from strong winds/stroms and also stop flooding and water erosion, sometimes i think we are to greedy by removing trees or hedges.
