...The city is behind in development of the downtown for past 20 plus years, either we always had bad mayor's or something else is there. Since Shahid Khan arrived, they did more and invested more than anyone previously, god knows for how many years back. Politicians need to say goodbye to the Church and start investing more than ever before. And i could never understand these questions to citizens of a city about who should pay for, please, non of them will pay anything with their own money.

Among other issues. I’m not saying stadium doesn’t need some TLC, but 1.4B is a lot of money, it’s over a mile from downtown unlikely to have much positive influence there, and every urban developer study I’ve seen says these massive stadium projects do not deliver what they promise to cities.

Got some proof that it’s out of date for NFL regulations? It needs a $1.4B update to be regulation? The Chicago Bears won champions and the 1985 Superbowl when their stadium was 60 years old.
