Seeing AJ ride is such a bliss. Some of these old (sorry AJ) Japanese guys have a crazy style. Like nose wheelie all down the trail. AJ also has it's own bike brand GONZO'S PERFORMANCE, and he recently put out a super versatile hard tail called "trail screamer". I did an interview with him, in which we also delved into the background of his nick name. Check it out while waiting for the next episode of BKXC.

The adjuster pointed out is in fact the reach adjustment for Shimano brakes. Bit point is "supposed" to be adjusted by the philips head screw... but it really does nothing. This something Shimano have not sorted out to date on their brakes compared to SRAM.

Maybe it's just the camera, but do your wrists usually bend back like that all the time? If so, maybe roll your bars and levers forward a mm or so to keep them neutral and straight. As someone who rides mountain bikes I know riding is dynamic and a straight wrist isn't always possible, but it might help...

Good on you for setting an example of clearing debris that will make the trail better for others. So many people think "They'll" clear the trail & no one does. Don't expect the "authorities" to do their jobs. Where I ride trails only get cleared by riders, never by the state workers.
