@DeathlordSlavik
@DeathlordSlavik 2 жыл бұрын
@@DerLamer Yes it does as Data clearly stated their tactics involved abandoning the ship after rigging it to explode meaning the ships were empty. Also before they decided to go over they had confirmation that one of the race that owned the ship was responding to the distress call and was on its way. On top of that its quite common in Star Trek for radiation to interfere with scans as such they wouldn't of caused a radiation leak if they were intending to leave bait as the radiation would defeat the whole purpose of bait.

I questioned myself on this, with my Northern Irish accent it sounds like 'respitory'. I listened to various other British/Irish pronunciations and it is mostly the same with a few using 'respiratory'. Then I listened to US accents and while the majority were 'respiratory' a few were 'respitory' like most of us. Not bizarre at all! The worst is far-future sci-fi using imperial units, I understand they are catering to a US audience but sci-fi technobabble has no real meaning anyway. Sticks out like a sore thumb when a 25th century scientist uses fahrenheit.

For crying out loud people, you know what she means. 😒 But, if you are going to get nit picky, then remember that they are not actually speaking English. They may be speaking a language that is partly descended from English, but there is no way they are still speaking the same version of English that we speak today.

No matter how serious and dramatic this show pretended to be. The idea of evolved humans full of morals, ethics, ideals, lemmas, logic and rules is so far fetched against actual events, this is now comedy.

@Everyone. Troi was standing at tactical because she was coordinating with Worf to evaluate if the damaged ship was actually a trap, and the best way to deal with the enemy if they really needed help.

In other words, she saw the life signs on the Tactical Station monitor. She did not use her "Magical Psychic Powers".

Disagree. I think it is the best, but not my personal favorite. Still, you say it is "The Worst"? So you like STD better than TNG? 🤔 You've had two years to think about that, now. Are you sure you want to stick with that statement?
