Patrick Glenn Nichols Musclecar Barn Finds

Күн бұрын

After following dead end lead after dead end lead I finally was able to find this elusive 1970 LS6 Chevelle that I’ve been chasing for over a year. The Chevelle was discovered hidden under a large amount of miscellaneous junk in a old storage warehouse since 1974. This Chevelle hails from the Flint, Michigan assembly plant which makes it very rare. Flint assembled LS6 Chevelles are the rarest and very very few are known to exist especially in Tuxedo black. Ride along with me as we do a thorough walk around of this King of the Muscle Cars Barn Find LS6 Chevelle. If you have a rare find to share or need assistance authenticating a 1970 Chevelle you may contact me at pnichols26@yahoo.com or on FB at Patrick Glenn Nichols Musclecar Barn Finds. [THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE.]

I remember when we picked the car up in Mystic, Connecticut from the original owner, the guy's girlfriend was crying as it was driven away! I still remember that. My father always said to me. " I should have never sold that car." Of all the cars that my father owned, he knew that he should have kept that car. I think the gas prices forced him to sell (I don't actually recall who bought it or why it was sold.) I was pretty young back then.

I'd mess my pants to find something like that and not be able to fix it up. I am 72 and it would pump blood in my heart to see it out of there. All the important stuff is there. If the engine and transmission is that important then there is a lot of cars out there that the price just went down. I remember the guy who had the largest collection of rare cars and he got out of it and quit by selling his collection and went into something else that turned his life around. A lot of the cars he had were bought because money was no object to him so he paid way more than he sold for. He is not a old guy either as I saw him at Barrett and Jackson auction a few times and no matter who bid against him, he just ran the price up and bought them.

@@bigboreracing356 What ticks us off is pricks like you that want a stupid amount of money for a heap of junk that the buyer is going to have to put a ridiculous amount of time and money into to get back to original condition. You'd rather watch the car disintegrate into a pile of rust dust than let a true car enthusiast give you money to haul something off your shitty looking hoarder property. You also tell everyone that comes to ask about it "I'm going to restore it one of these days" or "it was my dad's car so I couldn't sell it" so you let it sit there getting worse and worse until the day you die then your kids end up selling it at a estate auction for less than half of what you were offered by multiple people. Unless a car is this rare or worth a crazy amount of money when it's restored it will never be worth anything over $500 to $1000 if they're missing parts, have a lot of rust or other body damage, or have been butchered by a idiot who thinks they know how to build a car. So no, the majority don't have a legitimate reason to keep them sitting in their yards like its a fuckin lawn ornament, they're just selfish, greedy fucks that need to STFU and take the money or come at them with a legitimate counter offer they wont pass up.

STREET RACER you’re a idiot paying 10,000 for a rustfree car it’s still gonna need to be completely took apart to replace worn out shit and wiring and replace interior and rebuild the engine and clean and replace all the rear items like bushings and everything like that so why pay 10,000 for a car to have to take it apart anyways when you can get a car that needs quarters and some other minor body work for like 2-4 grand and fix all of the stuff and replace all the wear items and wiring and everything else you’d be saving money buying the cheaper slightly rusty car then paying out the ass for a rustfree car that still needs to be completely took apart

If that 1970 Chevelle was actually only driven for 4 years until it was taken off the road that had to have been 4 really rough years !

The Chevelle has no engine, or transmission. It's not a million dollar barn find.

Engine was present. It is worth what someone will pay, and with 2 in existence there would be a room full of guys wanting to add it to their collection. It would hit BIG money at auction.
