Used tiktok twice, hated it after 5 minutes both times and just sticked to KZbin. I don't know how ppl can watch shorts, they make my brain tired super fast and they dont allow going deep nor give any kind of context. Long form content fan here

Tiktok was vertical video up to 10 minutes though! The era of 6-15 second videos was gone long ago & since people only got paid for 1 minute + videos the app turned into basically mini long form videos for the past year and half which was interesting. KZbin shorts has not caught up to the energy that tiktok has at all! But I totally understand long form has always had my heart too 💓

@@frankii2 that's interesting. I noticed they've been adding time in all the platforms. But also the way tiktok works just by scrolling (and in a way IG) I always found very hard to do a specific research where I can just see previews and choose what to watch you know. I never got hooked on IG stories as well, maybe there's something wrong with my brain cause they say it's addictive but I find it stressing

@@smurfettetutorialchannel8248 it wasn’t necessarily long form or short form it was a mix of both / somewhere in the middle! I think majority of my feed was probably 2-3 minute videos but I’d often find myself on 8-10 minutes video’s without even knowing. I definitely consider Instagram and facebook reels, and KZbin shorts to be short form but tiktok was developing into something different. It was like “casual” long form for me I guess! (Basically what I’m doing on this channel but vertical) Haha but also could’ve just been my algorithm! It wasn’t the dancing silly app it used to be - it turned into a great place for hearing each others thoughts!

Also… I think you can still download all of your tik tok data! It just takes a few minutes to download all of your videos, likes, favorites, etc. I did it right before the ban but after the ban, I clicked “learn more” when that warning message popped up and there was a link to request your data. ❤

Just got an update from MAGA it's good news TikTok will be back max by Monday morning just before the inauguration of Trump. They are even saying that it will work from tonight let's see . Just now Trump posted regarding this so it will be up soon , it's definitely good news for thousands of people who earn their livelihood. Wish you good luck with your channel 😊
