Sure, there would be a lot to see behind our eastern border, but I would not trust to go to Russia in these times. Perhaps in farer future again. For example Ilmjärv (Ilmen) southern shore with its Devonian era lime stone coastal klint is very special. This is a place I'd like to see very much..

Is it possible to visit Russia through from Estonia?? i really want to go to Russia......but a UK citiizen we are 🙂

Yes! I did that in this video in February 2024. Its still possible to cross the Narva bridge as a pedestrian only, with a valid visa. UK citizens would need to apply at Russian visa centre or Russian embassy for their visa, so a little trickier but still possible. Look at @Igorinrussia's channel, he would travel that specific route a fair bit more often then me.

I live in Belfast! You can visit Ivangorod as a tourist if you contact the appropriate authorities who will offer you the permit for it in Saint Petersburg, but it takes some weeks to process. I believe most tourists to Ivangorod, who go to the castle etc., are domestic Russian tourists from elsewhere in the oblast. I think you may be allowed to visit the castle as well when you are passing through, but I can't confirm. There are some historical plaques around the town that I noticed talking about the towns history, so there is a tourist element there if you have proper authorisation.
