The title though 😂😂😂😂 Alternative title: "Girl being told that she is too old to do ballet, what happens next is shocking" I am starting my ballet journey in October. This channel inspired to start this journey. I have already reached out to the teachers of the studio. They are so nice. I hope that many artists feel encouraged to start their journey, reach their goals and have fun while doing it. Artists make the world more creative and colorful.

Will do so!! ​We as adults face so many obstacles whe we want to do dance. When I did salsa for a few years I did it on and off but it's not like I wanted it that way. The classes were either at the same time as work or the school would be located super far from where I lived and I wouldn't make it on time for class. There is always something getting in the way. I did tango classes during that time just to keep dancing. Salsa is my favorite though. But I never gave up, I always sticked to it even when it all got super hard. As a reward I am now EXACTLY where I want be, and the dance school moved to an area that is sure near me, I can literally get there on feet in 15 minutes. Guys just keep going, don't focu on the bad stuff and it will all fall into place. I am starting ballet in October and I am 30. I hope I will workout as well as salsa did.@@VeronicaVacanza

I was a yoga teacher for years and ended up needing a spinal fusion bc of back hyperextensions caused me to have a herniated disc. Were you really told you were too old to take ballet or that you were too old to be a professional?

@@scarlettwinters5642 when I was 17, I tried to sign up for classes at a local dance studio and the owner wouldn’t let me because she said there was no point. She explained that because I didn’t start when I was kid, my body would never be capable of doing what it was supposed to so I was too old to ever be a ballerina. I’m sure she was probably referring to becoming a professional, but I was too young and insecure to realize that we had different motivations, and instead let her words control my inner narrative for a very long time.

@@VeronicaVacanza That’s really sad! I’m guessing she was talking about being professional but anyone should be able to take at any age. My ballet teacher would have probably said the same thing. He was only interested in making professional dancers and mean as hell. I haven’t danced in a really long time after the mental gymnastics he did to me but am looking into going back
