I have two dogs from the same litter and one of them was a daddy's girl. My husband passed away almost 4 years ago and she was depressed for a while. She was laying on the sofa one day just staring off into space. I said, Peanut do you miss daddy and she raised her head and looked toward the bedroom. I felt so sorry for her. They are 13 yrs. old. I lost my 15 yr. old schanuzer a couple months ago from a stroke.

I was wondering where little Arlo was. I have a mini schnauzer too, he is all black and he must have a squeaky toy 24/7. His ears are clipped, the breeder had already done that but Arlo's are too cute 😀 But my boy Max has had his surgery, it didn't slow him down a bit. He is my " true love and friend". His very favorite thing is swimming and watching the ducks in our pond. ❤❤

When my parents went camping with their friends and both families had small dogs. They were shocked when a owl came flying low with one of the dogs in their sights. Everyone started yelling so it flew off. I live in the PNW and it's well know how the larger owls will go after small dogs. Barn owls are too small but you might want to watch or see if there are regular owls living around you.
