You should try to visit Resita, Caras-Severin. An awesome, very modern, old industrial Romanian city from the mountains. Still a hidden gem but probably in the next 2-3 years it will become too full of tourists 😔. If you ever go there, it's mandatory that you eat some Langoși from Langoșerie Echilibru. People from all of the country go there to have a taste 😉. Unfortunately it's only open from 7:00 to 13:00 (or 14:00), Monday to Friday.

In Romania usually for Christmas people visit their first family (like parents, brothers, sisters, etc) and on the New Year they spend it with friends/colleagues/spouse etc. Married couples may spend Christmas with his parents and New year with hers (or vice-versa) if they all live in different regions. That's my observations at least :)

@RoamingMario Not much else except cozonac and turta dulce. Most of the times people use gift sets that include cozonac and other chocolate sweets like chocolate Santa, etc, and some drinks, usually wine.

@@RaduRadonys what do you mean "not much else except cozonac"? Every year thousands of people get to E.R. with ambulances because of eating too many Sarmale 🤣. Each year, the Ambulance department comes with reports about how many people they transported to the E.R. because of EATING TOO MANY SARMALES! 🤣 On the side: Salata boef, crempita/cremsnit/cremes, mici, piftie, cartabos, jumere, krautsuppe etc.😜

Stadiile locuitorului din București: ~Aud despre România că e o țară nașpa. Nu vreau să o vizitez vreodată. ~Totuși devin sceptic și ma gândesc sa o vizitez dar probabil doar Transilvania. ~Ajung in inima Transilvaniei, îmi place foarte mult si ma gândesc sa merg si la București. ~Ajung la Bucuresti si sunt impresionat de centrul istoric. ~Mă gândesc sa vizitez si cartierele sale. ~Vizitez cartierele sale apoi ma intorc in țara mea. ~La 2 săptămâni visez cum sunt in Bucuresti dar sunt sigur ca nu-l voi mai vizita. ~Ma ia valul si o sa-l vizitez la maxim o săptămâna. ~Vizitele sunt din ce in ce mai dese. ~Mă gândesc destul de des in fiecare zi sa-mi cumpăr o garsoniera in Bucuresti pentru ca totul este ieftin pentru mine. ~DEVIN BUCUREȘTEAN!
