My mom hates camouflage, and would get annoyed any time I asked for something that had a camo print. As a kid, I never understood that she just thought the pattern was ugly, and assumed it must have had some sort of rebellious connotation-- she also didn't want me wearing too much black, anything with spikes or studs, or anything too revealing, so that checked out in my mind lol.

I have some of my aunt’s fatigues and I wear them often just because they are a handy and comfortable. My favourite outfit with them is a pair of actual army shorts, an orange woolen hippie poncho and a handmade choker made from a bit of leather and copper wire fashioned to look like an owl around a piece of libayan desert glass.

My grandpa constantly wears camo. Like most of his outfits are camo shorts and a sweaty camo t-shirt. Or a camo jump suit. He’s even given me and my siblings clothes as birthday presents and they’re mostly camo 😭

I find camo works really well for a casual look. Like you’re going out, but not anywhere special, maybe running errands, so throw camo on, especially a good hunting shirt because those can be really comfortable! They are made for someone to be able to spend hours sitting still or walking through woods, and those are activities where you want to be comfortable!

I once saw an 1800s inspired ball gown done in different colors of camo (it does come in other colors than green, yanno) and it was absolutely gorgeous. As Madonna sang, beauty's where you find it. These looks are amazing and you should do more camo looks in other patterns and colors than green

I’ve never worn a full camo outfit like this but it pairs well with goth/grunge/alt looks. Specifically the more casual ones with hoodies and or band tshirts with big jackets, and lots of metal accessories with studs and skulls. Or those colorful rubber bracelets. Lots of piercings and dyed hair too 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I'm in the Midwest US and my relatives hunt, so a lot of their clothes are gray/green camo or blaze orange. They'll wear those same hunting clothes when going to dinner or buying groceries too. I think turning all those same colors/prints into high fashion outfits is a really fun idea.

Actually with the bottom layers it was looking great with those earth tones, I see u wanted to do stuff with bright green but I don't think so much of the bright green was gonna work for cammo, also I think maybe sence cammo is nature inspired u could do some nature inspired designs with like moss or tree bark aesthetics and I think the complex yet simple normal cammo we are used too would look great as high socks or stockings for a drawing or even like a hairpiece. (Btw my ideas might not work out best bc idk anything about fashion but I do at times do a lot of character design and I'm just saying what I think would look cool in my mind)
