It's funny how you say that you don't own a lot of vibe mallets. I never owned a set of marimba mallets until I started grad school, and now I own one set of marimba mallets.

Ah we are polar opposites haha, I have many marimba mallets and almost no vibe mallets

@@AdamTanPercussion Hahahahaha! I played vibraphone a lot before I got to college, and my teacher happened to be a vibraphonist, as well, so he never pushed the marimba a ton with me. It actually worked out rather well for me, career-wise, given my goals. I just finished recording a new composition for my vibraphone ensemble, I can send it to you if you want.

Oh boy… I think they stole the EXACT marching snare design from rcp. Looks and sounds and functions exactly identical. Did they do a deal with RCP that I didn’t hear about?

It’s basically a generic pad you can buy unbranded from a certain company that you can sell as your own. There’s a company in Europe called Hanflag. I think

@@lucscott3631 dang so they literally just did that and slapped the logo on. It looks to me like that company has pads that are almost completely identical to the RCP pads. what a shame
