Cassie, you are more on the cool side of your neutral skin tone. The color you selected was too warm toned. One way to tell that is what color clothes flatter you the most. The royal blue shirt you had on the third day amped up your skin. It flattered you so much. I'm the same as far as my skin tone is. Royal blue is one of my favorite colors. Check out a search on what color in clothes suit you the best! As for that foundation powder, I had the same results as you when I used it 4 years ago.

I am not a fan of so many foundations claiming to be for “all” skin types. It’s just not possible or honest. I really appreciate these reviews. They help me determine which foundations might actually work for me. Thank you! I used to have oily skin so I know the feels, but as I’ve gotten older my skin has become more dry/combo and your reviews are still very helpful to me :) Especially as a fellow glasses wearer 🤓

They want to keep it being talked about. I just bought it in 21 days of beauty. You definitely have to use a pore filling in tzone and hydrating primer all over. Then I finish with a hydrating dewy setting mist.

I have extremely oily skin and I like the TOO Faced powder because I only use power foundation. I find that liquid foundations turn to oil no matter what and with powder, I can touch up quick. Thank you for the review.

I didn’t know they even had a powder foundation in the born this way line.. so it’s in no way old to me. 😁 Honestly i love powder foundation and the best ones that I’ve found are the Clinique powder foundation and the Makeup forever. They used to have the cocoa powder foundation in that packaging and I LOVED IT. It had great medium coverage, and it didn't even emphasize my dryness and I have very dry skin. It made it look like perfect velvet.

I don’t think I’ve ever worn a powder foundation, as a foundation 😂 I use them for extra coverage with liquid foundation. I may have to try it, chances of me remembering to try it are pretty slim but I’m curious now.

I only learned how to use liquid foundation around age 22 lol. I still prefer powder over liquid but now that I'm 30 my skin is very dry and I need tons of moisturizer to pull off powder. I always love and use the physicians formula one, its never caused a break out and is pretty good coverage. What liquid foundation do you use??

I bought this during the Ulta sale for 50% off and so far I like it. I use it for spot concealing since I don’t want to wear a full face every time I go out. I have normal/dry skin and it seems to work for me but I agree if you’re really dry I would pass on this powder. I also agree it gives an airbrushed look to the skin even over acne and texture. It also hasn’t caused me to break out which is awesome so I think my skins happy with the switch from liquid to powder.

I'm wearing this powder right now and I love it! I don't wear any liquid foundations and this is the only brand with a powder or concealor light enough for my skin! I have dry skin and it does sometimes cling to my dry nose flakies in the winter but it doesn't bother me too badly. Sometimes i'll take a lip scrub and scrub my nose with that and then moisturize before putting on powder haha

Omg yes! It is a chore just going to get any kind of supplies.. I've been keeping a wipe in each hand and I pick things off the shelf and directly wipe each item off as I place it in my cart then I spray the bags with lysol, it does make it easier doing it that way plus everything I touch is already sanitized as well as my hands. It's definitely a chore & takes me 2hrs just to grocery shop for 2wks at a time

YES!! And anything else coming in. I ordered a cat perch from Amazon a month ago and it just arrived the other day. I put on gloves and washed all the parts and the fabric before I put it together. Thanks for the review. I have super oily, acne-prone skin too, and my favorite foundation is a powder foundation, the Max Factor Facefinity powder foundation. You should try it! I get it on Amazon, it ranges between $9 and $15 depending on the shade and the seller. You might like it :)

I love that powder, I use it as an all over setting powder over full coverage foundation and I use it with a velour puff so I spackle that shit on and it works great for me, everything stays in place and looks super smooth, I like it more than the Mac studio fix powder foundation which used to be my go to

I didn't even know this existed, so maybe they're trying to repromote? I thought it looked great on you. I wonder what would happen if you reapplied it throughout the day as a blot powder? I think it's a good item to have in case you need to run out for an errand or don't have time to do the whole primer, concealer thing. I have dry skin so I like the IT Cosmetics Celebration Illumination Powder Foundation. I use to love the! Loreal Mineral Foundation but developed an allergy to it.

I dont understand using a moisturizing primer when your skin is so oily. I am sure you are already using a moisturizer. Even though you say you dont like a matte look as soon as your oils start you are not going to look matte. Just wondering because it seems no foundations work for you.

I am oily and was breaking out constantly. When I got a skin consultation, they had me use an oil free mattifying toner. Then, they told me to use a hydrating moisturizer. Counterintuitive, but this ended up exactly what I needed. I was using all oil free, matte products and was stripping the skin of all oils. But some oil is needed before starting the day, I guess. Once I started moisturizing, the breakouts stopped.

Part of being oily is that the skin can think it is dry, so it is over producing oil. Keeping the skin well moisturized is really important for those of us with oily skin and it makes a world of difference. There are plenty of resources out there that you can check on the topic.
