Was getting Mikal Bridges worth trading 5 first round picks?
@DerekRoy-c6y22 күн бұрын
Yep! They weren't going to be lottery picks anyway! And you'll see this spring! In the playoffs! He damn well it's going to be worth it!

See, changing that release point really enables his middy imo. Ubderrated passwr too! Like you said.

He’s the perfect 3rd option for us.He gets to his spots without demanding the ball much.And we still have OG and Hart that basically do the same thing.
@eraz_mo248720 күн бұрын
Hart is basically the same as OG and Mikel?
@Def1qnt20 күн бұрын
He the 4th option tbh. OG just going crazy

Used to love watching another Wildcat in Kerry Kittles with the Nets. Now with another Nova guy in Mikal, we have another unselfish player to route on with quite the formidable cast around him, I look forward to seeing many a great night of Knicks basketball and hopefully a return for another Villanova star (oh, make that three) to the NBA Finals!

Good Analogy. It takes time for a team to jell.. all players have different personalties and style of playing. Notwithstanding, they need to conform to the style of play of the Team. They are getting a feel for one another. We still need to improve. We have to beat the teams that normally beat us.... Especially when it really counts. Boston, Pacers, Utah, etc.

First 3 #1's at least will be the back of the first round. Plus he is cheap for 2 years which allowed us to get Kat and stay under the 2nd apron. If he resigns for a good price, at least the 4th #1 will be the back of the first round too.

@ who do you think is likely to be considered? De’Andre Hunter, Bogdan Bodganovic, Bruce Brown, Robert Williams, Brogdon, Ben Simmons?
@moorehoops349022 күн бұрын
@ I could see the Knicks going for a player who can improve their bench, probably at the wing. Someone like Bruce Brown or Bogdan would be amazing.

Those 1st rounders arent gonna be much so we won the deal by alot We should have really got donavon mitchell. But ill take bridges. KAT is the big difference maker. That was the deal that got us there Devo is garbage for the wolves and randal is just a ball stopper that goes cold alot

The Knicks have 2 years with this lineup that can be maintained by the organization. That means they have to win in 2 years or the salary caps process will force this team to slowly be broken-up!
@dumamayconcaaaaaac22 күн бұрын
Where you get 2 years from
@glawtonmoore22 күн бұрын
@ the Knicks have a few players that r at or near Max money expectation if they keep improving. Pretty soon these guys are gonna be forced to choose between taking less money to stay in NY, or cashing out with teams with available budget!
@glawtonmoore22 күн бұрын
This very same thing happened to the Lakers after they won their one ring with LeBron! They lost KCP and Caruso after playing for cheap in LA!
@chrisshepherd61722 күн бұрын
Wrong!!! Kat, OG, Hart & Brunson are all already signed for 3 or more years after this year, they are already talking about Mikal resigning and Josh would definitely take a little less when it's time for him to resign. We may lose some of the role players but our front office is great about funding gems via FA, draft & trades.... and our rookies will be ready for bigger roles in the future
@firefly61122 күн бұрын
All the players are on long term contracts except for Mikhail , Precious , McBride , and Mitch that’s literally it

What's wrong with the media. You're all clickbaits. Two weeks ago, Bridges was useless, now he's the hero. Can you, content creators agree not to be too dramatic? You ALL lose your credibility.

If you compare his November numbers to December you’d understand why

mikal in the knicks has always been the mikal jordan in the mid range. the roasts came up with his missed open threes and bad roll d.
