Concrete pad in the back looks like a well house and the gate is for children or pets.

Yes I agree all the nice bushes will be cut down. I was living in a house that belonged to my husband's uncle, he died, his wife moved us out. It was my dream home, Camilla bushes, a pond, a pear tree, rose bushes, dogwood trees circled the U shaped drive way, reflection pond by the house, all was demolished.😢❤

Everything can be fixed, the roof, not a big deal, the water damage, fixable, a well built House from the 1980's, you won't find ever again, people back then took Pride in Their Work, They Valued Quality over quantity.

First thing I would do is Put a new roof on it. And go from there. It's a shame it's going to be toured down.

That fireplace would've killed it in the 80s! They loved their black & white decor back then, lol. Totally agree with your printer rant! It makes me sad to see all of the love, work, resources, and planning put into a house just for it to be destroyed. They don't make houses like that anymore. They shouldn't be just demolishing them.

Like changing oil on a car, the most important thing to maintain on a house is the roof. And if you use tarps to cover a roof they have to be replaced frequently because the sun causes them to deteriorate rapidly.
@WayneSummey18 сағат бұрын
Water always the enemy of anything we build. Our own home has had its war over channeling water. Especially around the fireplace. Our gutters have been a problem. This house here shows that renters didn't have support for replacing it. Total shame. Makes me think of Leona Helmsley in New York. From the 80's

How could anyone live there 2 months ago? That’s crazy with all the water damage and black mold!

@@karimoore106 I had squatters move in my shed. Couldn't get rid of them police won't do anything. Wrote letters to law makers of environment protection. They had no septic tank. Waste was disposed by pouring on driveway. They were told about fines. Time to go.

The fireplace is not great. And the striped tile running up the bathroom walls would give me vertigo. Wood paneling stickers!?! And the grease on the microwave is crazy. Guess they never cleaned. Renovate? Nope. There is nothing to it, poor choices throughout, save the brick, maybe?

Nice sturdy house but the water damage makes it unlivable,The gate to the back deck there was most certainly a safety measure to keep children from falling or running away if they were small.I would have a gate like that for that reason.

The landscaping is gorgeous !! I’m in the NE part of the USA, Igot some great ideas for trees,, we just moved and have some room to add some. This house inspired me to i hope that helps with the sadness of the trees potentially being cut down. I often wonder if they’d take the time to sell smaller beautiful trees life the spruce and maple trees to a street nursery so they can come remove them with the root balls to be resold and replanted. I’d buy some if they did on some of these properties. The trees on this property spoke to my style. I wish that land was more homes since I’ve heard, correct me if I’m wrong, there’s a housing crisis in the Ontario area. Thanks for the tour Noah. Keep on sharing ♥️

The gate was probably for a dog. It is unbelievable how the owners had to pay the bank their mortgage payments or they would be evicted, but yet so many homes are abandoned that someone once had to pay for. Mind blowing really!

A great job video Noah and as far as fixing the house or tearing it down while anything can be fixed the thing is is how much money are you going to have to spend to fix it with it needing a complete rough lots of mold inside I don't know man it would cost you a lot that's a toss-up really it is I'd hate to see you get bulldozed be be leveled and all the trees gone just for industrial kind of sad but it seems like that's on Ontario cares about they don't give a shit about these old homes they this are going forward and whatever is in their way they're mowing it over so to speak but yeah but anyway Noah thanks for the great video see you on the next one.
