Jimmie Toyne I can tell you the drones run by the AI are much worse than Aaron ones, at least the atmospheric ones. They are tanky as hell and are not artificially weakened by decreasing the turret range or things like that. For space instead pirates are weak, especially if you use weapons mods, but there mods that increase the pirate threat to be magnitudes higher.

the shield was a station shield (you can tell by the size) and since it wasn't a stationary build, it couldn't use it even if it did have the power

i couldn't tell by looking at it on its own. if a ship shield generator was next to it i could probably tell the difference, but on its own it looked like a ship shield

Actually the first few shots severed the connector tubes. Completely negating the weapons loading function since there was no clear supply line for the ammo.

Try and build drones with grinders on them. They might give you the advantage you need to defeat Jack's fleet by crippling their weapons, destroying their armor, or even completely deactivating a ship entirely.

Hey, i have a little suggestion, Later on in the series, why don’t you bring back the mighty weazel and use it as the flagship for your drone army? It would be a good throwback to the old survival series and it would be interesting to see the weazel face off against Jack’s fleet

Maybe now that Jack has access to shields, maybe you could “upgrade” your drone fleets for real with their own shields? Kinda like a tiering system? Where now that they have something more powerful, you could level the odds and get your drones the same or better?
