I guess we are doing this now! On my way to Agra on the Expressways in India🇮🇳 I got kicked off them so many times but seems like this time I am allowed, it’s not cheap but so worth it! Nobody seems to take it tho;) Charging stations are still rare in this area but Indian Oil to the rescue, only 2 DC chargers that I can’t use but I find somewhere to plug in anyway…as always! Can’t wait to check out the Taj Mahal!

They can't track that account and it can be used for evading taxes. Secondly If I use that account for terror financing and other illegal activities, Indian govt will not be able to take action That's the reason they made it difficult.

The Expressway from Agra to Delhi is like this only known as Yamuna Expressway. It has only Racing Ciruit of India where moto gp had been hosted last year - Buddh International circuit. And you are moto traveller and u should check it out with your eve.

2:58 That cool car is a Hindustan Ambassador which is a car that was built under license and is a copy of the Morris Oxford Series 3. It was built from 1957 until 2014! 57years of production! I think we could say that it is the VW beetle (kaefer) of India. ;-) About the Nitrogen (N2): Normal air is a mixture of different gasses: O2 (21%)+ CO2(0,03%) + N2(78%) + Argon (0,3%) + water vapor. Some of these gasses can over time slowly escape thru rubber or react to temperature changes which would change the pressure inside the tires. Pure 100% N2 is an inert gas that isn't so much effected by temperature changes and it doesn't escape thru rubber. I think they also use it in the tires of race cars and -bikes. For normal road use i don't really think there is much advantage (because normal air already has 78% N2 in it). Just make sure you check the pressures every once in a while. If a tire has a puncture you will notice that quick enough.

I think its has more to do with the number of motorcycles on the road. If they allow it in all expressways it will simply cause a lot of traffic. I frequently travel through Pune - Mumbai expressway. Although motorcycle are not allowed but you can see how lot of vehicles can cause congestion even on the expressways.

In Uttar Pradesh sportsbike are allowed to enter an expressway, only less powered bike and three wheelers are not allowed. Elsewhere in India any two or three wheelers are not allowed

20:05 - they say nitrogen has less impact (internal breakdown) on the tire (rubber). A major US chain (Costco) uses it on their tire installations. Others say that it does mitigate oxygen impact on the rubber, however it’s minimal. That the tread will wear out before hand. I wouldn’t pay extra for it, but would use it if available for free.

I am from nepal but as i understand Expressways in India charge tolls to recover construction and maintenance costs for a certain time period. Tolls also help private investors recoup investments in public-private partnership projects. Its not for stopping bike and allowing cars!

Expressways in southern part of india are not accessible by two wheelers due to higher chances of accidents occurring (believed by the govenrment and sometimes proven to be true) so your best bet is to keep an eye out for the sign board of no entry for two wheelers. Love your content brother!❤❤

A nitrogen molecule is larger than an "air"-molecule. Air consists however of about 78% nitrogen gas, and 21% oxygen gas. (And some argon, water vapour, carbon dioxide etc.) The larger, slower-moving nitrogen molecules seep out of the tire more slowly, and some "experts" say this can help keep tires inflated longer. Apart from the cost of using a pumping station, air is free while you have to pay for pure nitrogen. A cheap and small, electrically rechargeable, air pump from Banggood/AliExpress etc. to keep track of your tire pressure regularly is therefore a very practical and cheap solution.

In India mostlly on highways/expressways long journey we use nitrogen air for tyres because it keeps the tyre cool and the normal air makes the tyre more hot. It effects the braking efficiency, tyre wear tear, mileage, most important safety because when u were riding/driving whole day tyre starts getting hotter, inside the tyre the air starts to expand and creating more pressure tyre, that is the reason of tyre burst,.. that's the reason why we use it and also recommend u to use it.

FYI. There’s a new highway built from Jaipur to delhi. (For now ). Use that. Its planned to built from. Delhi to pune (Bharat mala project) soon to be functional. For now it takes more than 30hrs from delhi to pune. But after completing this it will take only 12hrs. Also speed for that highway is minimum120

Nitrogen doesn't reacts with rubber and on longterm internal rubber molecular strength remains intact compared to using oxygen. And outer rubber will wear out faster than the internal part so nitrogen is just rich man's air. And also the nitrogen molecule is larger than normal air so the nitrogen doesn't escape as easily as normal air.

Think about this: If you were able to utilize 100% of the capacity it would probably have degraded so much by now that you would have equal or less the range you actually have now utlilizing 90%. The last 10% accelerates degradation insanely much, especially when combined with high ambient temperatures.

They give 5 years warranty and sell the the extra 10% for top dollar to customers. I don’t think it’s gonna hurt the battery! It is still just usable capacity and not real capacity even with the 110% how they sell it 🤙🏼

@@MarcTravels Not going to hurt it, but definetly accelerates the degradation rate. Zero bikes use the most common chemistry (NMC), so nothing special there. It is used in cars, ships and a lot of industrial applications and the characteristics are proven and well known. As a rule of thumb you could say the degradation rate doubles for every 10% higher soc past 50 or 60%soc, given the same temperatures. Zero`s battery warranty is triggered if the remaining capacity drops below 80% within five years. Passing that limit would require som serious abuse - but the way the battery pack is cycled, stored and is generally used is decisive to wether it is retaining downwards to 80% or far above 90% at the five year mark. That said, I would not worry about it and just use the bike as bikes should. Looking forward to the next vid!

Well if you charge your battery to only 90% instead of 100%, you get a 2x to 4x increase in battery life, so you won't have to complain of a low capacity battery when you hit 100k

Nitrogen is a sales gimmick. Air is 78% nitrogen. Maybe there is less moisture in it, but we've filled tires for over a hundred years with air and it was never a "problem". Marc, don't get sucked in by all the sudo-science. The thermal conductivity difference between air and nitrogen is nearly the same. Gasses make better insulators than conductors. Keeping your tires properly inflated is going to make the most impact. Just trying to keep it real. Great video BTW.

Yes Air is not a problem but pardon me for assuming that you are not Indian. The roads in India can get very hot and nitrogen does help a little bit to keep stable pressure.
