Honestly Jagex is an absolute joke for the fact they still haven't patched shanty pass, fishing guild, crafting guild, and farming guild. I got banned for doing the jojo3000 lure prior to Jagex banning them. I appealed and was unbanned since my infraction was before the rule change. Anyways, I don't know if OSRS kept that same rule. It's social engineering and really the easiest way to avoid being lured is to never hop to PVP worlds and don't engage in things that seem to good to be true. They WANT you to think you can outsmart them like Pip or KempQ but the lure will incorporate parts of this anti-lure into it to further gain your trust until they get you for the big item. A t-bow is 1-2% of the cash they lost attempting this lure, they can lose a bit more to get it. These people RWT and live off the money made doing this, they take it very seriously.

I'm not entirely convinced KempQ isn't part of the luring or being paid by them, honestly. One pattern I've noticed in pretty much all the anti luring videos is they never touch on animation stalls dragging you out of safe zones. Pip is one of the first I've seen actually show that part.

The lure at ferox, you stand in the "safe zone" but they use an account that is teleblocked to hit you as you can PVP if teleblocked in that area. Therefore no trade is required. You get tbed in a safe zone. And can't reenter for 5 mins.

A great way to lure the lurers is when they get you to hop to loot the impossible arcane is have a friend in basic pvp gear who is pre teleblocked to tb the dude on the bridge in the Scythe and torva when they tell you to hop. Then I mis-clicked outside the door of Shilo bank. The moral of the story is to be VERY careful, even if you know what they're doing, it's very easy to make a mistake and lose your bank. I know this is going to sounds bad but I wouldn't say just ignore everyone at GE. I've made 60m in the past two days from seemingly sketchy people and more since account creation who were actually just being genuine. The real advice is to not follow anyone anywhere with gear or put anything you aren't willing to lose in a trade menu. *Use good judgement.* There's plenty of generous people who will tip you 5m+ to buy them stuff when at ge limit, people who need wildy task done so the ask you to follow, people who just want to quickly unload items without putting them on the bot exchange. The advice of "don't ever talk to anyone ever" is toxic for an MMO community, just be smart and if you aren't smart then just don't talk to anyone that wants a favor if you aren't capable of figuring out it's a scam or not.

Most of these account are hacked accounts. They use these high level high status accounts to help lull you into security. I've been attempted lure on, with a 2k total HCIM as the spoonsailor guy. And a maxed account as the killer. With a low level that had 40 def, 70~ hp 70 range and mage 43 prayer as the rare item give away guy that you are "anti luring"

For anyone who doesn't know. This is how the lure at the end works. They get you to open up a trade with them and they want you to show that you have your expensive items there. Then they put up the gilded/sceptre. When you go to remove your items from the trade screen they will decline the trade after they see you remove your items. They are hoping that it will cause you to misclick and run out into the dangerous area and will kill you. That's also not to say they won't try a stall on you as well, they likely use both.

Jagex hasnt given a shit about luring or botting for ages lol the game is a cash cow for them. The same people luring 2 years ago are on the same accounts today.

They attempted this lure on me like 4 years ago I refused to split the first step and they still tried to lure me I wasted like 3 hours of their time on the final step and they sent me some tasteful discord messages before blocking me

the last scam happend to me and i lost 1b+ they even went on a discord call with me so i could live stream for him where i was and what i had to 'anti lure' so he can see what spot i'm on to guide me while hopping to earn trust blah blah blah and then trust was there and boom scammed

Spoonsailor has bots that log in when i go to the ge claming im a hacker and cant be trusted and the only way itll stop is if i pay him 500m how is this account still not banned.

There was one similar that i got lured for 1.1b except instead of doing the tele grab thing when the traded me for me to flash my items so they could see my inv he told me to take items out so he could give me some stuff and as i was he cancelled and it made me click outside of safezone and get pk'ed but started the same way this lure did

idk if telling a player to go to a certain area and then killing them is banable... but the rwt that goes on after is. so always report for rwt not scamming or what ever
