Basically when you see the raw footage with the interface on screen that's footage recorded straight from the challenge, when its a more "fancy" shot of someone doing something that's someone recreating the player's actions in the challenge while Soup is somewhere nearby likely using an Oculus Orb to capture it

One of the things that truly blows me away about this series every time is Soup CLEARLY digging heavily into game theory and how to produce interesting dynamics and twists. I'm a pretty decent RuneScape player. I would have made the same choice as Zecookies. She made a really logical decision. V is obviously going to be the more skilled pvm'er, so her best bet is hope he makes a mistake and goes too cheap and takes a death. Give yourself the guarantee kills. @@Markiepoo I don't agree, this is a drama show first and foremost. It's designed to create suspense for content, it isn't a "pure" competition in that sense. Players are encouraged to take ruthless approaches and cause drama between each other. The first one into the banning just had this choice dumped on them without any pre-planning and as a result were encouraged to play it safe and as a result one of the more skilled veterans who also is a season winner now have beef with 3-4 of the other competitors plus the tribunal members and that is going to have an effect in the next episode and that episode will have an effect that escalates into the next etc.

Soup gotta say this series you came up with is really incredible! Never been a fan of reality tv but this episode felt like a gripping episode of survivor or something! I do not understand the hate V the victim is getting for his choice. He treated Zecookies like she was an equal instead of like a child like everyone else is. If she is not prepared to go up against experienced players she is out of her depth. She gave it her best shot and honestly congrats on her for trying her best, I don't see why V the Victim should treat her like she's less than the other players.

Victim went all out, that's true. He took in a true minimalist setup. The whole point of the game is to win. It simply makes sense for Victim to choose her if he thinks he has the best chance. It's a competition; if you have absolutely no chance you shouldn't be in it.

Like yeah he took the easiest way out but he also had golden opportunity to play out some of the stronger pvm guys or pkers .

@@ollilund5360 Based on the episode structure the choice was dumped on him without any warning right there and then as a surprise. Like 99% of players would've played it safe and taken a weak opponent based on what information they had about them. There wasn't any time to make a plan that would warrant enough confidence to take on a strong player. Now that everyone is aware how eliminations will work they can actually plan around it and it necessarily won't turn into a noob stomp.

This episode is an hour long, why have I watched it THREE times. This is my first time watching GG, and I'm so hooked. The editting and storytelling here is unbelievably good, and the entertainment value here definitely transcends just being a fan of the game. I almost can't wait for what's next, but I've got 3 seasons to tide me over. Also, COME ON ROIDIE!

That amulet of choice is such a cool idea. Think the partial immunity might be too weak, feel like it should block the tribunal, not the picking. Because someone that won an elimination challenge would probably not get picked by the loser, but would be picked by the tribunal. Overall very cool improvements to previous season though. And Soup turning to camera at 1:06:15 honestly gave me chills, haha.

I remember writing that season 3 wasn't the best because a lot of challenges were repeated. There is a complete change here, new rules, a lot of new players who are popular in streaming. I waited so long because I love this series and I am not disappointed. Keep it up, now I definitely have something to do every weekend :D Much love Soup, holy moly i cant wait for second ep!
