In this video we will start a new Campaign where I play England in Europa Universalis 4 vanilla in the latest patch of EU4. Yes Im playing vanilla Multiplayer just to show everyone how crazy vanilla multiplayer is. Many people claim that the only reason why I am able to get insane income and manpower so fast in EU4 is because of the MP mods we use in the game but this campaign will show otherwise.
Besides the incredibly overpowered British mission tree, there's a lot of new mechanics that I will showcase in this campaign that make EU4 so insane even in Multiplayer....

hey, i'm going to be playing england in a mp soon and i have a few questions: 1) why go explo if your missions already give you free explorers? 2) why ally holland, wont they steal your trade? in said mp game, there will be very few colonizers (portugal wants to focus solely on africa and castille is a newbie) so i basically have a monopoly over all of NA, i'm planning to do expansion first and focus heavily on colonisation, though at the price of getting infra much later - what do you think?

I like exploration over expansion because of colonial range and the ability to reach other points of the map before other people like South Africa, I also like the naval capacity. Also I feel with the amount of natives and player colonies that you don’t need expansion like ever. I ally holland because I don’t want to deal with main land Europe, it’s a good ally to have in the first half of the game and yes he does take trade but I’ll always dominate the channel harder because of the nature of my country and he will also push trade from other parts of the world and the lowlands. If he wasn’t going to push trade there then he’d be useless but he ended up bringing us about the same amount money into the node as he took away (if not more)

I suppose that it's situational, but I think that expansion will be more useful since NA will be basically empty player-wise, while also giving nice trade bonuses and a very strong policy with trade ideas. If there is no Holland player, but there is a Burgundy player, would you stil ally the Burgundy player, or would you try to partition him with France, or would you just not pay attention to the continent regardless?

@@AbsoluteHabibi True on the expansion part in vanilla, but what about games where natives are removed. Colonizing with just explo in a game without natives (no deccing on natives and beating them up for land instead) is it still worth ignoring expansion?

So in this timeline England doesn’t care about Franch territory, and is getting invaded by viking during the hundred years war, had to sell for free to France territories then asked France for help to defeat vikings in Scotland. Not cursed at all.
