I think the bigger problem is that elite levels and evolutions don't add anything new to the game. Elite levels are just a new level. And evolutions just buffs the card to stupidly high levels. They could have done something to make evolutions more interesting. Instead, we got evolved firecracker, evolved royal giant, evolved knight, evolved skeletons, evolved barbarians, and evolve royal recruits. These things don't really add much to the game. Elite levels, the concept. Evolutions, the execution.
