Totally agree the system in the UK is wrong ❤ they get more help then those who struggle on the streets , providing them with training for a skill giving them outside communication is wrong

British prisons aren't like that Eddie. Cat D, for low risk and short term offenders, low security. A, B and some C's are a different kettle of fish. Filthy (roaches and rats) old prisons, foul food and most of all, violence, extreme violence. I've seen murders and mutilation in prison. No rape though, it's not like American prisons. Gay is tolerated, lot of lifers go gay after 20 years locked away, but rape isn't. Sex crime is a sex crime and sex offenders are not tolerated, whatever the ilk. I did 5 1/2 years of an 8 stretch. I only ever heard about one rape in all that time......and that was dubious because the victim was a gay prostitute on the outside and there was talk of him selling it in prison. It's always the right wingers that complain prison isn't tough enough and sell that shit to the public in order to try to make prison harsher. These are the bring back the death penalty mob.
