The problem with Brand's bluster is that there is footage of him groping reporters etc without their permission, which constitutes assault. And that's the stuff that's filmed. There are much worse allegations of SA behind the scenes. Lothario or sexual predator, apparently there's a blurred line, if you listen to Brand. He's clearly confident he can use his mastery of communication to manipulate people into believing he's innocent. Let the courts decide.

Where are the courts, it’s all allegations. Take him to court seems a bit funny when Brand exposing corruption at highest level now the matrix slinging the mud ….. Instead of making TV documentary they should’ve saved their energy for a court case.

Sorry, and I'm not being antagonistic, but where is the footage of this SA? I know there's a few texts that look damaging, but I don't remember seeing any explicit abuse? Was it in the C4 docu?

@@jamesatkinson7691there rarely ever is actual footage of SA. That’s what courts of law are there for; evidence and testimonies are weighed up and a jury decides. Brand has shifted to the right in a more obvious way since these allegations have come to light. It seems at least he’s courting that company now for some kind of sanctuary from the real danger he feels he is in of being jailed.

@@TreforTreforgan Yes, I appreciate that, with regards to evidence, but I was asking a poster where such footage could be found, as they made explicit reference to this material being available. I wanted to know, irrespective of what happens in the courts, whether there is tangible, physical, evidence, where Brand is concerned and not just gossip, innuendo and what appears to be a large amount of schadenfreude.

@ I don’t think it’s necessarily schadenfreude to want to see a criminal get their just desserts. That said there’s little doubt there are many on the Left who feel betrayed by Brand, as he used to speak for the most disempowered in Britain whereas now he’s cozying up to American elites. He’s an incurable addict, unfortunately. First it was drugs then sex and then various ideologies. He gets bored with one addiction then ditches it for another it seems. He’s now in the safest space he can be in, a fundamentalist Right Wing Christian, and through it he still gets the attention and adulation he’s always craved. He deserves a fair trial but no more than these women who credibly claim abuse deserve justice.

I used like watching brand. But when he started preached Christianity, I stopped watching him. Not got any problems being religious. But when people start pushing it down your throat, it gets on my nerves.

He's groped women on live TV, without consent. That constitues sexual assault, so his words are meaningless (as well as overly verbose). This is as panicked as I've ever seen him, I think he's starting to crack because he knows what he has done. The sooner he disappears the better, he's at best a total bore, but likely much worse if the dozens of allegations are true.
