The Octogenarian dancer was an amazing dancer, and had an amazing story. Her story, being a dancer from age two and a half years of age, but gave it up to be married and have four children, is a sad story for women in her generation. My mother, also an octogenarian, was told "It is the shoes, or me" due to the disgusting things said by the men in the crowd when my mom danced, and her then fiance was in the audience having to be a gentlman, and not throw punches. He could not stand by and listen to the comments. She had to make a choice. This wonderful woman had to make a choice, to give up a passion. Thank God things are different, 60 years later. Dancing is healthy, and keeps the body active. I am so glad she got a Golden buzzer. The hand shadow performance has to be the best performance I have seen of such an old performance art. Shadow art in Asia is incredible to watch. This performer, who occupied himself with shadows and stories, not snapchat a video games should have received a golden buzzer too. The performance was current, told a story, and was captivating!
