I'm rocking the Cooler Master MM710, it's pretty spectacular but I kinda want a wireless one. MM731 is intriguing, but it'd be a little heavier and I'm not so sure about the shape just yet. My favorite mouse shape is the original Logitech MX Master, especially with that beautiful aesthetic, but the MM710 has spoiled me so much that the MX Master now feels like a brick. It's so heavy by comparison! Once you go ultralight, it's so hard to go back.

Truth! It’s so hard to go back to anything over 80g’s in my opinion. If cooler master ever does release one of their lightweight mice in a wireless version(without the issues this one has) I will be all in!

@@BaxTechYT MM731, supposed to ship out in Q2 for $90. Less than 60g, no holes. Seems like Cooler Master dunking on the Logitech G Pro X Superlight, ha!

I prefer wired mice, mainly because they're cheaper. I honestly didn't know there were so many affordable wireless options on the market. Thanks for the review! Something to keep my eye on now

Nothing wrong with a wired! That’s what I still use as my main. I’m excited to see what 2021 can bring for wireless mice

Wow that wired requirement is just about a deal breaker to me. I love the fact that it's QI enabled, because as far as I've found this and Corsair's dark core RGB se are the only QI charging mice on the market. CoolerMaster really needs to address this because the fact that the mouse isn't even listed as compatible is unacceptable IMO

RIGHT?! It kinda defeats the purpose of a WIRELESS mouse IMO. It's so sad too. This really is one sexy looking mouse. Hopefully this year we'll see a revision because I would love to check out a newer version

I did not like my dark core rgb. I like my mm710 and mm720 with a mouse bungee. I have other wireless mice for the couch.

I'm using a g302, uts pretty good, but I will need to upgrade soon. Also, I wanna say, for only 170 subs, your video quality is really good, keep up the good work man.

I bought this mouse just last week and have the same issue with the dongle not working on boot. I’m returning mine and buying it again to see if it’s just a defective dongle but I might just give up and buy the G503.

Can’t go wrong with the G503! If you’re wanting something that is Qi compatible, also check out the HyperX Pulsefire dart. It’s a personal fav of mine

@@BaxTechYT Oops, did I say G503? I meant G903 haha! That mouse definitely looks pretty cool too. The replacement MM831 arrived and the dongle still has the same issue so I'm just gonna give up and assume CoolerMaster's implementation of USB is screwed up lol.

I have a havoc mouse from CM since 2014 and just I love it, but it's time to get a new inalambric mouse. This mouse would be ok if I have small hands and claw grip?.

Hmm this is a chunky boy, so I couldn’t confidently recommend this for small hands! Personally I would suggest the MM711 even though it’s not wireless

I have this mouse and it's absolutely horrible because, the sensor is super glitchy. Like it's so bad that I can barely move around my cursor let alone play a video game! Not sure If anyone else has this problem but I am definitely returning this mouse. Here is a brief summary of what I mean by saying the sensor is horrible, moving around the cursor is like playing with 2 fps on a video game.

So I actually did have this issue initially, but found out for me it was an issue of dongle placement. I had a USB extender lying around that I connected it to and they got rid of my issues there. Which honestly is still a bit annoying. Honestly I think they just used a really cheap dongle, which caused the vast majority of this mouse issues

i was using a budget pictek wired mouse, i loved it. i just recently switched over wo the aerox 3 wireless. cant say that im getting used to it or will get used to it. im looking for a wireless mouse with about the same shape as my last mouse and this mouse might be it.

Oh yeah, this shape will be very similar to the Aerox 3. It will be quite a bit heavier though. If you’re interested in other lightweight styles, I might suggest the Model O wireless from Glorious or the Wireless symm from Pwnage

i thing i gotta say i was reading the manual of the mouse bough it today. so in the dpi profile indicador right below the wheel it says when the battery is below 30% all the rgb will be turn off and the dpi indicator will turn yellow and it will glow every 5 seconds and when is 15% the light will turn red, on the last stage 5% battery all the rgb will turn off including the dpi indicator. hope this will be of help

I've been using a Logitech G502 (non hero) with half of the removable weights in it for years. The weights are stuck in there now. Love it but have been considering upgrading to a wireless mouse. The G502 Lightspeed is just a bit too expensive.

I would maybe look to the Razer Basilisk X Wireless, or possibly even the HyperX Pulsefire Dart(which I have a review on) unless if you’re willing to look into some lightweight options! But if you really love the G502, I would check spots like EBay or Amazon refurbished as well! It’s an easy way to find barely used gear to way cheaper!

But I have been scouring facebook marketplace. Hopefully I find something. If not I'll just stick with this mouse till it dies. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for being honest .. i was on the verge of buying this mouse but the cons are deal breakers ... cooler master is pretty bad when it comes to products that are not related to cooling (cases or cpu coolers) .

Thank you for commenting! The cons truly are saddening, because this mouse could’ve been so good. I will say though, some of their other mice, headsets, and keyboards are top notch

@@Sonix07pr I agree with that. I think Cooler Master will start taking more steps in the wireless mouse direction with their 711 series soon. I just hope they can make the improvements needed over the 831

Truth! But to be fair, Glorious would be considered budget on a price spectrum. Cooler master tends to be more budget in price and quality though. Especially with a mouse like this

@@BaxTechYT Glorious does have a good marketing team. The Cooler Master name will always sound cheap even if they have one of the best ultralight mice, some of the best cases, great Takstar based audiophile-grade headsets, etc.
