What I really like about these older clips of them is that they weren't trying to look or act like 'rockstars'.. they look like they just came home from school and started playing.

There is a story behind this. When Ellen gave them each $10,000 for music college, they all attended Berkelee School of Music summer program. Dany unfortunately became homesick for her family and friends. She felt isolated and it inspired her. She had to do a final exam for her course and the task was to write a song. She wrote When I'm Alone at that time when she was 15. The song became a staple on their first album and today it is still one of my favorites. If you haven't already reacted I would highly recommend this song at Teatro metropolitan 2022.

Yep, Ozzy..This episode of Elen is when I found The Warning. I haven't missed a day since, I've at least checked on their progress everyday. I've watched them all these year's.. I'm so proud of them. What a marvelous family..🤟🎶☮️

Nice Reaction! They made a Video Diary of their trip to Berklee College of Music. On their way home they were taken to the place where they develop Rock Band Video game and told them then that 2 The Warning songs were on Rock Band 4. Watching these older video's you are probably beginning to understand why The Warning Fans are so crazy for them (including you three). Not only do we get to watch them on their musical journey through video's, but we also get to watch them grow up at the same time.

They were great right from the start. This is a shorter version of the song, the full version is available from their live@liceo concert at their own school. ❤

They were so young then, but their talent is so obvious. And they keep getting better every day.

Very nice! Their career started huge, Enter Sandman went viral, invited to the Ellen Show, they sponsored the Berklee Music College in Boston, and if I remember seeing them live in London, sold out headliner shows on three continents this year, next year in Germany invited to play at WACKEN Open Air… they came a looong way, and yet they are just starting! Thanks for your reactions, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘

There's a moment when they cut to the audience and a lovely woman in a red blouse is clapping. That's their mom. This was a pivotal moment in their journey. There is a whole web series that Ellen ran with "EllenTube" that shows a bit of their journey when they went to Berklee. That time away from home, feeling homesick, is what lead to Dany writing their iconic song When I'm Alone. Great reaction!

Great Reaction Kathy, Lulu and Donna! Watching this brings back many memories. I discovered The Warning back in 2015 when I first watched their Enter Sandman cover, after which I proceeded to watch every video I could find, and I've followed their progress ever since. I always knew in my heart they'd make it big someday... So Much Talent!!!

Wonder how many people noticed that when they cut to the audience at 7:05 that was Mony in the red. The trip to Berkley had been set up already the money was a blessing. Not sure if the vlog they did from Berkley is public(may still be patreon only) but it is worth a watch and is reportedly were the song When I'm Alone came from Dany's homesickness.😉

If you like "young Warning" check out Paulina covering "My Life Would Suck Without You" as a 10yr old (kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4akmYlugJKpaaMfeature=shared). Another one for Kathy would be Pau covering "Creep" by Radiohead (kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2e8ZYumd92di5Ifeature=shared) . I think this may have been the result of one of those TikTok showdowns where people get tasked with covering songs or something. I don't think she worked very long on this before getting this recording. It is very good. Gives you a different look of Pau, being behind the piano as opposed to drums. If you weren't aware already (I am sure you are) Pau is the main lyricist for the band and comes up with a lot of the original ideas that become Warning songs. They all work together on polishing and writing, but Pau does quite a bit.

It's kind of funny... I knew Ellen long before she ever had this TV talk show, because she was originally known for her stand-up comedy work back in the mid to late 80s, and frequently was a guest on a local radio program that kind of had a focus on comedy. The host had a policy of a "live studio audience" that was only about six to eight folding chairs crammed into the console studio, and it was kind of a first-come-first-serve situation. Even though the radio station was about 40-odd miles from where I lived, I'd go there and eat my fast food breakfast meal and coffee before going to work, so I met her and several other fairly famous comedians at the time. It's interesting to me to see all these lives come together and affecting each other "in context" over the years... including mine. I would never have imagined back then that Ellen DeGeneres would have helped kick-start what is currently my favorite modern rock band... who weren't even _born_ yet back when I got to know her, from this completely local radio show host whom nobody really knew of out of the local area. Connections and memories, man... life is weird. 😋

Here is a link to what logically should be your next reaction kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZa5Yol9mtFnoqc Ellen TV documented their time at Berklee. Towards the end we will see the sisters visiting Harmonix office in Boston where they were surprised to find out that their original song was incorporated in Rock Band 4. So a group that started due to a video game got their own song in it within 7 years. That is talent. And hard work. Also, in that vlog we can see Ale's bass teacher at Berklee predicting their 1st Grammy in 10 years. The Warning are well on course for 2025 despite losing couple of years to a pandemic. BTW the lady in red shirt in the audience is their mom, Mony.

Hi girls - Salute from Brazil! I enjoy your reactions som much. If you like, and did not do yet, there a band formed of siblings, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, called LILIAC, I think you will enjoy them a lot, specially if you never had reacted them, Older videos from them are cover songs and the more recent videos are originals. One of the first videos of them was just Crazy Train from Ozzy, that's why I remembered of them
