Very enjoyable watching the reactions! Keep going! Yes, with Scandal you probably can tell what year it is just by hair color, but I haven't made a chart. Tomomi and Mami just graduated High School, and Rina has another year to go in this video---so 4 with black hair. But success drags them off to Tokyo. Haruna and Rina dye their hair red (2010). Mami will give you a good timeline over the 18 years because of her punkish styling. Her hair has been: black, red, blonde, blonde+brunette, blonde with blue streaks, blue, orange, pink, and yellow---not necessarily in that order. The band is still growing and changing---after all, none of them has tried green or purple yet!

I'm glad you happened upon SCANDAL. They are the epitome of J-Rock and are a veteran, no-nonsense, no-ego group, which you find a lot of in Japan. They have a huge catalogue with great sounds. My personal favorite is "Shunkan Sentimental", but they have so many other great songs, "Shoujo S", "Pinheel Surfer", "Harukaze", Platform Syndrome" and "A.M.D.K.J", which is a lot harder and edgier. They were a contemporary of another great J-Rock band, Stereopony, who have long since disbanded. You might like their signature hit "Hitohira No Hanabira". There's also a video on KZbin of both SCANDAL and Stereopony performing this song live together on stage. SCANDAL are also excellent musicians, they all sing great harmonies, which is pretty cool when there is no dedicated lead singer that doesn't play an instrument. Enjoy the ride !!!!

“Anataga mawaru” is a song from scandal's first album (2009). Therefore, this song is more than 15 years old. The girls in the video are young, still in their teens. (Now they all are in their 30s.) This song is well known among scandal mania (like me), but not widely known in general. They were still pushing through with their energy at the time, a bit amateurish, but that's what makes them so innocent, rugged, and charming. It is part of their long history of growth. I was just surprised at reviewing and reacting the song here. I enjoyed it immensely.

Rina, for those that do not know is the Drummer of that band and the youngest member. She was just 15 years old when the band formed. She is 32 years old now, more then half her life entertaining us fans.
