for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (comment if I should include Shadow): - Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy) - Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel) - Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix (?), adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel) - Lark had babies! (accident at doggy daycare) seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue) - Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal) - Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - Sakura had kittens! zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - 6 junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama dog Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - Daenerys (white foster mama kitty) - Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea) - took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed!

I don’t think storm was from a rescue if I’m correct someone’s husky had accidentally gotten pregnant and ended up having puppies and storm was part of the litter😭

I'm actually shocked the mom hasn't been adopted yet. She's so gorgeous and sounds like an amazing cat companion!! I wish I could adopt her but I live all the way up in Canada and I already have two ferrets (and a boyfriend who doesn't like cats that much). I'm hoping she goes to a great new home!! 💕

Years ago my mother put my stray cat into the shelter, eventually she decided to get her back and I was told that they got her just the day before they were about to put her down. Guess what, my baby was pregnant and that night she gave birth to her kittens. The fact that they would kill her even if she has kittens is cruel and I’m glad there are people like Joey out there.

Well yea because not enough space and regular shelters are expected to take every single animal versus non kill where they can turn away animals and are less limited because of it. So everyone should adopt and foster from kill shelters to make sure it doesn’t happen since they are more limited in resources. Don’t judge, adopt.

Awe the mom got so stressed by it all ....she was unable to control her bowels. Who could not adopt the mother. She is so gorgeous. I hate the way this agency deals with adopting their animals.

@@augustek5382 That's what I was worried about too! It isn't even mentioned and it is so, so important that they do spay or neuter them before adoption. There are just too many cats and kittens out there that go unadopted in shelters and then they end up being put to sleep. 😥

@@roxysmom1986 don’t really think it’s your place to say that. Clearly she believes she can handle three cats and three kids. By the time the babies arrive the cat will be almost full grown anyway. Cats are very independent pets and honestly once you have one, you have a couple more without it affecting your life too much (outside of vet bills and adoption fees).

I adopted two twin cats, they were originally triplets but their sister died and I couldnt bare to takeone without the other and I just took both, for me it's better to keep twin animals together as that's who they cuddle with the most like my twins sleep on my sons bed together

Joey you should look into rescuing a bully breed like a pitbill. They are more likely to be killed in shelters and they are the sweetest dogs usually despite their bad reputation. Plus bully breed puppies are adorable. And if you can handle huskies you should have no issue with a bully breed, you just have to make sure they know your in charge. You are great with animals and I would love to see you rescue a breed that really NEEDS to be rescued

Hey Joey yesterday my cat passed away :'( my whole family is sad and destroyed... he died at our house, we prayed to God that we wanted for him to take my cat life in our home, and God response to our prayers... and my cat died with us, in his beloved home... we want to adopt a cat :) but my family wants to pay respects for my cat, maybe in Christmas of this year we will adopt a cat :)
