@TheYarbros I agree, but emotional maturity dictates that you concentrate on the strength and positive side of a Country, many black Americans like Troy, Traverse culture, Kid greatness and Auston Holleman just to name a few are here, do you think they have not seen the negatives like you? Yet they decided to market Kenya positively, in short the title of your video is Pathetic and bad for Kenya's tourism.

Wifi signals strengths are sold in packages. You get what you pay for or what package your host has paid. Most hosts usually get cheap wifi for their houses, but you can request an upgrade at an increased cost. I live in the US and I don't think I can walk in some areas in Chicago at night, too. In Nairobi, it depends on what place / area you stay or live, depending on your budget. Seems like you guys were really on a limited budget so your options were limited by your money. There are many great places in Nairobi that you can walk, party, or sleep outside at night without any worries. Just remember that this is still a developing country and you don't have to compare it to you living in American.

Nairobi is a small city in size but its also a big city with what it has to offer. It has many neighbourhoods that have different things to offer. Some are as you said chaotic. And some are more relaxing. The CBD is very chaotic and so are the areas east of the CBD. But as you move towards Westlands youll find less traffic and less chaos. And if you move further to neighborhoods like Runda and karen the environment changes a lot. There is enough security in those sides and you can walk around easily. So they are good for the elderly. And they have many malls and supermarkets around those areas too. You can not put all the neighborhoods in Nairobi in one basket. They are simply not the same. And each has its own type of people.

@@richardray2680 That's why you should really think before writing. Calling it a small city is false for all intents and purposes. There are cities organised around its urban core like NYC and Nairobi and sprawling cities like Jo'burg. New York City has more packed in its urban core than probably any other city in the world. And guess what has more inhabitants than Jo'burg. Nairobi is pretty much same population with Jo'burg. Lagos is just a big mess and not worth compared to Nairobi. I'm of the opinion that it is a city suited for everybody, anybody...i mean with money and investments, it is the best city to live in ...depends on how, where you want to live. Almost everybody wants to live the city life, but also has the option to relocate back upcountry to their family homes...which is even more impressive than our capital anyways -take some time and take the drives, will you? 1st the greenery is a huge part of the city as we stated in the video. Next, the police trying to shake me down constantly when they see my camera make it complicated to record. The way you have undersold and mischaracterised this city is just mind boggling. One month and this is all you came up with? Funny how many African Americans love it here, it just goes to show you how people see things differently. Also, apart from the giraffes at the giraffe centre, you never showed anything else. No sights and sounds, people, infrastructure, city skyline, shopping malls - nothing. This was such a poor take and very underwhelming. Good bye!

Sir, don’t you know this couple is ant-black, and doesn’t fancy their counterparts? Why? Because I have been observing them for quite sometime now, being to the fact, I enjoy psychology. Don’t you see how disrespectful the husband was to the bartender? He referred to her as “girl”. He has never behaved in this ghastly manner, in non-black countries. He was always polite to women. The thing is, when they are in non-black countries, they are bubbly, positive and friendly. Please, study them carefully and you will see how differently they interact with Blacks and non-black folks. I have drawn this conclusion many moons ago, that they are self haters. As a matter of fact, I have called them out on this very matter awhile back. Truth be told, they are an embarrassment to African Americans. Sad state of affairs, really!.. xxxxxxxxx.

@padmasalam5267 I saw a video or two of them in SA, I think Jo'burg and Cape Town and I actually once commented that he should come to Nairobi and forgot all about it. The algorithm sent me to his channel today and was excited to watch. Bit after watching the video I was aghast at how badly he sold our city whilst showing nothing. I find it hard to believe how other AA's enjoy this city and how bad a take he had on it. Hopefully the algorithm will send this to many Kenyans so that he can learn from Kenyans on how not to misrepresent their country and pretty much poo poo on it. Thanks for your feedback, I now get it. I can see gray hair on their heads, clearly it ain't wisdom but petulance.

I’m not sure what part of Nairobi you were in. The names of the parts of the city you were in would have helped. It doesn’t sound like you were outside of the CBD and the most rundown oldest part of it at that. Doesn’t sound like you went into any of the suburbs as such given your definition of walkable. Lavington, Riverside, Kileleshwa are all walkable as per your description all the stores, restaurants etc and quite a bit of pavement. Many middle aged and elderly people live and walk around these parts of the city. Given your references to “humanitarian” needs and the fact that you started in Kilimani you were probably in the vicinity of Kibra which is a slum. There are tonnes of other commercial districts (like Upper Hill and Westlands). There are also tonnes of other neighborhoods that have a different feel from the three you appear to have experienced

@ that explains it. You were downtown and definitely in some of the more rundown parts (matatatus are not allowed into other parts of the CBD). I hope you get to see other parts. Nairobi is actually quite a big city and the neighborhoods and different commercial districts have their own individual vibes. It’s possible to come away with an impression that’s actually quite specific to a particular neighborhood or part of the city. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Due to construction some of the roads such as Makueni Road and Othaya Road have been affected so there is an impact on parts of Kileleshwa’s sidewalks but it’s not all.
