Women have so many options to change their appearance, from nails to hair to clothing, and there is no reason men cannot explore the same things, especially when it's something that could benefit your own confidence and sense of self. I've always thought this, which was why I was dyeing my hair when I was 15, painting my nails when I was 18, wearing purple braids for rock gigs when I was 25. I tried to donate my hair when I was 19 and that was when I found out it has to be at least like shoulder length to be donateable. So me being the stubborn person I am, grew it out for the first time in my life, I grew to love it, now I'm turning 26 on July 9th and have only gotten it trimmed once in almost 8 years.
