AUM ..... AUM..... AUM.... This Mantra recitation benefited a lot to me. Even The SYMBOL of AUM spontaneously appeared on my Crown Chakra (Sahasrara Chakra) whose symbol is AUM!!!!!!! I became financially rich by reciting this Mantra. I physically became stronger by reciting this Mantra daily for 30 minutes for 7-8 years. The benefits are uncountable.......

Is the Pranava mantra pronounced as "Oom" or as "Oum" and also is it pronounced as "Chamundayé" or "Chamundayé-i", which is most accurate? And also does the navarna/ navakshari mantra really starts with Om or without it because some say only without it can it be called as "navakshari mantra" (9 syllable mantra) "aim hreem kleem chamundayai vicche" or otherwise adding "Om" to it will increase it numbers to 10 syllable mantra, please clarify the confusion?

Science is now starting to validate yoga. I was a sceptic but things like 4 in/8 out breathing to slow the heart and reduce blood pressure really work (with peer-reviewed papers supporting it. I find AUM is great for helping chest infections and sore throats - especially during recovery when that chest is tight after lots of coughing. It's like an ultrasound massage of the chest, lungs, heart and diaphragm.

Isn't that we say Aum only while exhaling but not while inhaling ? We take a deep inhale and while exhale we chant om. This is how I learnt it from many teachers. please clarify
@Clodhopping2 жыл бұрын
That's what I do - on the exhale. Potentially you could do it on the in/out breath, but I think you'd need to learn "circular breathing" like trumpet and trombone players.

It's really confusing,I know we do very minimum use of our tongue during chanting of om but you are telling just opposite " all the languages of whole world do the same contact / vibration " ..... otherwise everything ok regarding the benefits....
@onlinesaidasa91053 жыл бұрын
Namaste Om should start from the centre of the navel. ‘A’ should come from there, ‘U’ should come from the throat and ‘M’ should be in your head. In this process, All the three syllables should be chanted with equal time. It should sound as OM and not as AUM separately. We can chant it 21 times or 108 times. After the chanting session, the chanter should self analyse the experience and see if it energises them. Thanks
@divyakhubdikar51293 жыл бұрын
Hey. Thank you for the note. But Aum doesn't sound like om. Can u please throw some light on it
@onlinesaidasa91053 жыл бұрын
@@divyakhubdikar5129 Namaste I mean we can chant as OM though internally it splits as A U M (and Silence , the fourth)
@Clodhopping2 жыл бұрын
The different vowel sounds do have a purpose though. Ahhhhh ("Rrrrr") (belly height) Oooooh - chest and Mmmmmm (throat). It's basically a massage of the internal organs and releases tension plus encourages you to focus on the position and sounds so you're not focusing on your day-to-day problems.
