Job creation is one thing but it's maintaining them without worker exploitation is what I think would be super cool. I'm not anti-AI but I have got to say that after watching Ellison talk about how AI means that people will be "supervised at all times", and if there is a problem AI will "report it to the appropriate person who needs to take control of the situation" this does not excite me. In general I am not a big fan of the idea of unregulated, expensive, wasteful, environmentally harmful machines that could possibly be used to accomplish goals with complete disregard for human life, increase the intensity of international violence/warfare and the number of civilian casualties, create an Orwellian state with such complete and total surveillance and repression that even Orwell would be shocked or rush to the singularity so some bro can feel special about unleashing something potentially deadly....but maybe its what Zucky said "move fast and break things".
