If you've ever studied political science, you'd know the two political sides - right wing and left wing and what they mean. The right wing is the side of Fascism and authoritarianism. An example of this is Nazism. This side is about power and control through force and fear. This is the militant side. The left wing is the side of socialism, communism, and Marxism. But it depends on the context. Communist countries today are actually dictatorships. The U.S. is a democratic socialist nation. As in Social Security. Not the negative definition that Republicans give it. You can't confuse the two sides.

Here in North Carolina, the democratic nominee for governor, Josh Stein, has been showing clips of some of Robinson's 'remarks' in his campaign ads. One particular clip has Robinson saying about a woman who is/would be sexually assaulted (and I'm paraphrasing here) "...you should have been smart enough to keep your skirt down". Stein's use of Robinson's remarks in his ads has been working. There are various polls showing Stein up anywhere between 3 and 6 points. - - As for Robinson himself, his ads have been getting fewer over the last couple of weeks. The word is he's running low on money, which is probably why he wants to have a debate Stein, to get free airtime. Stein's best political weapon right now is Robinson himself.
