If you want a trick to get down deep into the mines, you can save at each lvl. then just dig until you find the stairs and reload, the spot with the stairs doesn't reset. Go down and save again then repeat. That way you only have to dig once per level. I tested it out to make sure it still works like it did in the old game and it does. It is a pretty tedious method, but it gets the job done.

It’s hilarious watching this two years later - as I’ve learned all the schedules by heart because of the original - and several of the cut screen bugs and rules for the game that just don’t get explained. The hysterical yelling is so funny. 😂

This is old trick from the old game.. Idk if it work here.. During mining, never dig/mine on the outest area that connected with wall.. You wont find anything there.. Dig in 1 space instead after the outest space, circle it.. I always find a stair there.. Also I never really start mining before lvl 5.. Upgrade the tools first too before mining to reduce the needs of stamina..

People keep asking for the comparison of Stardew and SoS, but they're very different. SV is a great game, but it is more RPG than simulation, it will take far longer for you to start actually raising animals (definitely get SoS if you want a more interactive experience with the animals) and SoS has a simplicity to it that brings its own charm. I recommend both games, but if you picked up SV and got overwhelmed, then I highly suggest trying SoS, it is a much more casual experience which is sometimes exactly what you want.

I agree, both games are good! I think it's down to personal preferences which one you like best. But if you like this style of game you will probably like both anyway. The more the merrier (if you can afford it!)

Also, I would avoid eating those colored grass. Because the sprites (in the house behind the church) their hearts will increase more if you give them the correct colored grass 😁 they will help you do chores around your farm if their hearts are high enough

I'm glad they made a remake i picked up HM BTN for the PS1 at ToysRUs as a kid and fell in love with this game, this is the best remake we'll probably ever see of Mineral Town. Im happy to see Kai will be back in the summer, and too bad the fisherman that lived at Zacks house left he was mysterious, also no dog to start with which is disappointing because in winter there was a dog race, also i noticed in spring there was no Harvest festival to dance with the ladies ? and lastly in the OG the mayor would explain you have 3 years to make a good impression on the town and if you do bad you actually have to leave and restart the game. If you did stuff like treat animals poorly it could result in them dying or getting sick which would affect your approval rating at the end of three years. I thought this was important for kids playing this game to have consequences for bad choices or actions they may make, there used to be a wild dog that could come to your farm at night and attack your animals if you did not put them in at night. I hope these things will be added either by developers or modders, Great remake all in all !

this game is addicting! im so upset i got to the 250th floor of the spring mine tonight and fainted :(( didnt use the save method though just loaded up my inventory full of curry udon noodles and still had plenty to keep going had i not been too fatigued at that point

Half way through the first video I was thinking since you go and bath before you go mining shouldn't you water half your plants? Then after mining and bathing finish watering the rest of your plants to save more energy as well? You will not find stairs in the tiles along the walls. I have never, ever, in thousands of hours of mfomt found stairs along the wall, I have been down so far that I had to hoe an entire floor to find the stairs

Also, the people that keep saying that you can keep going until you have blue face don't realize that it takes multiple days of minimal work to get back up to your regular fatigue levels. If you can avoid getting blue face, that would be the best, so keep doing what you're doing!

No, all you have to do is sit in the hot springs for like a minute and you're back to normal. There's really no downside to working down to blue face.

Idk if you know this already, but apparently you can marry Huang, the goddess, Bon Viviant, and Kappa. I read that they’re like the challenge marriage candidates that you can marry as a challenge. Also Kappa appears when you throw a cucumber into the lake next to Jennifer’s tent. I just got the game recently and was super surprised when I learned about these.
