Personally I really love resting my arm on my armrest but this looks super clean. I get it with the little details - I just paid $50 to have my MPPSK badge replaced on my 340i engine cover (it was peeling).

It's a very subtle mod but fit for purpose, inobtrusive and clutter free...I totally get why you opted for the armrest delete. Taking care of the little details borderline OCD...I like it!👌

I didn’t think that removing the arm rest would actually impact much with the car. (if anything I thought it’ll actually make it worse) However that being said, seeing it in the flesh I think it looks so clean! Definitely worth it imo

You might not this, but after much thinking and looking at your recording, I changed my mind and did the exact same mod. I ordered both parts a while ago and installed them only today, the first warm day of the year, in Holland, where I live. It went smoothly, just needed to understand how the new ‘frame’ slides in/under the console. After that it was smooth sailing. I like the looks. I hope I won’t miss the armrest. At least now my wife and me can put two bottles/drinks in the cupholders, which is a huge bonus. So you talked me over to the ‘dark side’ 😂. I might even go for the rear-seat delete in due course, if it fits my E81.

at first i was oh cool what modification is that now. only to realize that i need my armrest so badly😂 wouldnt go without it. although its skeaking noises drive me nuts sometimes….

I never get why people do those rear seat deletes, doesn't look proper to me even though 1 series rear seats are completely useless all together.

I’ve had my e92 m3 for 4 years and never had anyone sit in the back. It’s virtually useless and easy weight savings. Cheap hp.

I find the armrest in the 135 to be more of an annoyance than comfortable. It’s ugly, in the way when I’m shifting and makes terrible plastic creaks.
