Because of life’s hectic nature, I am just recently finding this beloved teacher. After listening to him, and deeply receiving the nourishment of his messages, though, I did grieve at the knowledge of his passing away, I realized, that he is teaching me. He is here with me and all new comers to this path. He is so alive and present in you all. I am so grateful that with every breath in and with every breath out he is present. Thank you, Thich Nhat Hahn from Virginia…my love and peace to all!

In my case my restlessness lead to many years of drinking large quantities of alcohol - which in a way is suicide. I’m great full to find sobriety, the Buddha, and these wonderful teachings of Master Thich Nhat Hahn - he will be missed.

Can I share this? I use a wheelchair to move around. Since Thich talks about walking and being present by taking breaths, I'm trying to figure out how to roll and breathe at the same time. I have a good imagination and while I use my hands to propel forwards or backwards, I need to invent some technique to breath in while doing one rotation of my wheels and not my feet. There's a real lesson to learn how to be mindful of using your hands to walk and be mindful of your breath. Peace
@vinnyvincent28623 жыл бұрын
Steve Dolesch : you have already figured it out otherwise you wouldn't be around ! from birth to death the breath controls us not the other way round , we depend on it every single night we sleep so why confuse it when awake . try not to get bogged down with technique. if you had never come across this video, i guarantee you still would have survived without it . 🙏
