For some people picks dont matter but for others like me they can completely change everything when i started i used a green tortex because hetfield used them, i struggled and always thought i sucked because those picks never suited me mv hand my grip my forearm muscles etc picked up stiff nylon(black) small jazz 3s and its like my arm had been replaced and upgraded with latest firmware. Pick tone is minimal through an amp but feel/playability is something no one ever mentions forgetting or maybemot knowing that there are people who cant play well eith standard picks.

Been using V-Picks for about 20 years now. The Dimension and Dimension Jr. were my favourite... but now that I have a wider selection it's difficult to choose a favourite. The Insanity is great for playing and practising at home, but I never use them to play gigs. I think it's great that you're letting people know of the benefits of using different picks. Even the more expensive ones are cheaper than a lot of other gear we spend our money on... and the picks make a difference in both tone and technique. Cheers.

Hey thanks Glenn, I agree, I can't really see myself using an insanity pick at a gig, who knows? Maybe one day. I love the dimension as well, and you can use all 3 sides of that picks which is really cool.

The intervals in the sweep at 12:00 remind me of animals as leaders. You are making it seem effortless here it’s incredible

I got some V Picks a while back and really enjoy them! I also think you left one of your Dava picks at my house a while back lol. I haven’t tried playing with it, but I will after seeing this video!

Nice! Enjoy the Dava pick man, they're great. What do you normally use?

I use Fred Kelly delrin 2.0 with grip. I prefer a thicker pick for quickly skimming/grazing the top of strings. I feel like a thinner pick has more of a chance of getting caught up on a string, if that makes sense.

Those sound like great picks, I'll have to check them out, and you're right, I feel like the thicker picks glide over the strings better.

Hi, I was wondering if you were gonna do that video beefing up that TEMU guitar. I thought it'd be interesting to see how that turned out.
@DrewCreal7 ай бұрын
Yes! It's coming soon. It turns out I'm really bad at guitar wiring, so that's been the holdup. That video should be up in a couple weeks.
