Woodworkers and tool manufacturers have been trying to mistake-proof the trade for the entirety of human existence, but it seems like every project brings some new lesson, or even an old lesson that you didn't learn anything from. I'm a big fan of my DeWalt DW735 thickness planer, but there are a few things that I would like to improve. One thing in particular has made me a little cranky on more than one occasion, so today I decided to fix it.
