Brandon Ortega yea using western grip takes high risk of wrist injuries. its not natural grip for human arm. like western user Nadal hes dealt with wrist injuries so many times.

daeshik cho nadal uses a semi western grip. I've done lots of research on his grip and when you see his wrist when contacting the ball, you can see his hand pointing outward instead of upward. I think he used to hit with a wester grip a like 3 or so years back. His wrist injury comes from his acceleration from his arm. That is how he gets so much torque in his shots.
